Has something for everyone social players, rewards hunters, etc.... Get rid and make team play mini events that are 10x better then water world. Team up for bounty... And DarkSeal type of event, multi regional invasions and complete take over of said region if not able to come together and protect the region... These will be good and could be just some ideas to throw a round... Nothing that is a real problem in the game is really addressed. Forget that the game is pure pay to play we dont even care at this point make it as pay to play as you like.

Just fix the boredom aspect between big events… add something serious in regions for us to fight over between events..

Make regions more competitive during event downtime. Every region that opens ends the same way empty and 1 alliance just sitting at city 5 waiting for the next event to start for days.

Keeping the region competitive makes more players want to stay in regions instead of every single server you make fizzing out off….

State of survival developers did this very well by implementing 4 bunkers in the region that open once a week and give decent rewards to keep servers competitive during event downtime….

I don't know man, I actually appreciate some of the "downtime" (and yes, downtime is in air quotes)... because I work, other stuff happens in life, and I actually have other hobbies besides just playing DLS 24/7.

The game is even rather busy when there's not fighting events going on because there's other event crap going on, or crap overlapping, etc. Constantly farming of rss, etc.

I already feel like I spend waaaay too much time doing all the chore tasks each day to maximize efficiency and progress over time, it's like they want us to be logged in 24/7 and have no lives outside of the game.

I had same.. but after reaching certain strenght to be able to score before your hospital overflows is the trick.. i did with rather ease this time round, and at reset all came back, so it was reasonable rewards for free event.. though we lost towers etc, cause fighting there gave no value in terms of recourses and recovery.. especially after archepelago..so we only did field... that caused us last place.. but i had no losses..

They're not talking about using legendary (gold) fragments to awaken a hero (5/5/5/5). They're talking about the Energy Cores to awaken an S-Hero's Superweapon and (probably) in addition you could add in the additional EXTRA gold frags required to transcend each skill AFTER you have enough energy cores.

Getting the energy cores during All-Star Night's Splendid Stele event...with the Exquisite Files is a pain in the butt. You need 500 cores for a single hero to fully awaken their superweapon. Now multiply that by how many S-Heros there are in the game...

It's pretty ridiculous. We all know this game is pay to win, but it's just getting more and more out of hand as time goes on. Every single aspect of this game is monetized to death. And we all know you essentially can't be "competitive" enough unless you spend. Or unless you've playing since the game released because of the slow progression over time factor, where TIME is essentially your best friend. Oh, you didn't start playing the game when it first released?...you've already fallen so far behind...unless you dump a ton of cash into your account. But even then, the time factor is still important.

You can save up the free exquisite files you slowly aquire, but it'll take a long time to save up enough to even think about participating in a Splendid Stele event, and you can still get easily screwed over by the competition, especially if whales and huge spenders are a part of your matchmaking ranking board...when they're dumping thousands upon thousands of files at the last moments. On one of my ranking boards for Infantry (Sakura release) 1st was 18k files, 2nd place was like 15k, and 3rd was like 12k. I even took a screenshot because of how ridiculous it was lol.

I only did one hero swap when we had that going on, I should have taken more advantage of it. How many total swaps did they allow during that time? I believe it was multiple times, but I can't quite remember the exact details right now...

But at the same time this game won't last forever. Like all mobile games (I know we can play on PC too) the EoS (end of service) will come at some point. But we very likely have many more years ahead of us until that time frame arrives.

From a strictly practical pov, I doubt igg gains much by doing it, so by that alone seems unlikely to return.
But from a health of the gameplay pov, I also really don't like it. If the heroes were more accessible in the first place, you wouldn't need this bandaid. It's a mechanic that punishes players who work really hard to plan their teams, save their materials, and engage with some foresight in the rpg part of the game.
And from a meta pov, it would make gameplay really stale. It's already bad enough when 95% of players are running around with all the same heroes from the last round of it.

I guess what bothers me is that IGG literally monitizes every aspect of this game to death...and whales, high spenders, or just your typcial regular spenders will always spend...even if the hero swap happens again.

I think it just helps benefit more of the player base that doesn't spend (F2P's) or very low and infrequent spenders, or people who didn't play the game when it was first released and started their journey late...them a chance to enjoy a newer more powerful hero that by the time they're done awakening them, there's already a pile of newer heros out again.

And we know even an awakened hero isn't much without their armaments and honing. I guess add in Beasts now too.

But I hear you on the planning and saving RPG aspect. I'm that type of player too that plans and uses materials more carefully with intentions. Not just using everything I have right away "just because I have it and it's in my Bag." But that's how I've always played my games, more cautiously and "smarter", even though I also do spend on a fairly regular basis, but I'm definitely no whale.

Example: 10 players with might 250M. - 300M can have 7 - 8 other accounts, made to be as small as possible, and use these small accounts to register as separate players. My suggestion is please improve igg website. Everything is too small and feels like it was made in the early 90s. It's counter intuitive. After years of play i still try to find the scrolly side bar, and have developed a sweary tic every time i try to access any of the web events. Everything takes ages to load. Why is it so dreadful? Thats just optics, for every main account there is usually 2-3 farms to support it so just by the fact there is 300% more farms than mains then farms will continue to get items due to more chances

Until you start tracking it and notice your farm accounts all get better rates of 10x pulls from roulettes and luck from draw events.

I think it's an intentional mechanic to encourage spending. Farms are not as active, so are usually doing an event less frequently, they are usually newer and smaller accounts.
It makes sense to give those accounts some feeling of winning early to chase, some misinformed notion that it's worth spending money on those things. Pretty sure most gambling things use a lot of these psychological techniques to increase spending.

We just lost the chance to join for the AR event, despite previously being chosen to participate. Everything was ok when suddenly some alliances increased to much their might and bam, we lost our chance.

Yep, if your alliance is below 5.5 at this stage - game over.. you need minimum 6 by next.. simple really.. another thing, there more than 2k alliances already over 6mil, its just people avoid putting full alliance to participate and adding them last minute as required.. are you annoyed about the fact you not qualifying due to lack of total alliance power or the fact you thought you will and last minute you are cut off? Most prudent alliances have at least one person not sleeping and watching the list you know.. what you need to do is simple - merge or migrate.. also potentially id not adding full team, have someone r4-5 to watch till reset

Teams should be able to play with whatever they have if they're willing to play.

The amount of bloated teams that go into AR just to do predominantly nothing is kind of disappointing for teams that actually want to play.
Not sure what can really be done about that in practice though.

The other ironic thing is, there are countless other threads of people blaming matchmaking on teams not having cut enough. There's only so many players with so much time in a day, people are burned out trying to make this game a full time job for the past 5 years. There is no avenue to give casual players a place to participate. Some people can only check in a couple times a day or have stuff come up during an event but are otherwise valuable team players. There's no good options for them.

The answer to the overarching problem of the game cannot be both "merge" and "cut". It can't exclude the vast majority of players who can't be glued to a phone for 95% of their waking moments.

We already know that these might measurements are a farce for gauging power. We know that battle ratings are a joke.
We also know that matchmaking will just randomly select teams regardless of their might/rating (current team im in was ranked within the last 20 spaces of elite cut-offs to fearless warzone, but they placed us at the upper half off elite G).

So trying to pretend like there's logic in the system and people should waste their effort trying to game it is kind of a slap in the face.

I think daily events are useless for most people. Only those are usable: Hero Upgrade, Citry Construction and Technology Upgrade (I think this should be divided in two events) and Troop Upgrade. The rest are useless: Armament Upgrade, Biochemical Beast Upgrade, Equipment and Part Upgrade. These are not applicable to everyone, except a few times monthly simply because they aren't daily events, for many reasons...
So I suggest to remove them from the daily events and put something that we do every day. Otherwise - who is horning every day?! Or, who is upgrading their buildings every day? Especially when we have level 25 on everything? Or, who is upgrading beasts and commander gear every day?! Useless...

Top commander really only matters when you compete with exquisite files. Rather than save all for tc i am regularly using resources in events like setting sail to pickup a teleport or hero frags etc i even waste resources in inf and rider tc even as a 10 ranged squad account just to get the gems and other few rewards as a sort of refund for using resources at the right times

The only time i care about first place in archer tc is when i use exquisite files

Those little phase rewards are 1000% not worth it
Especially if you're trying to do 5 squads of one troop type, you need those S heroes upgraded thats crazy for 500 gems 🥲

I wasted alot of universal speedups on healing though admittedly it was a bad idea but sometimes misclicking to many troops when batch healing and still need to fight or sometimes ego kicks in and refuse to lose a war

I made a rule that if I ever run out of either one or bag rss, I will quit.

Any troop upgrade,
2.7 million hero xp use, some beast search when enough, then tc week. Just dont be greedy for 2 much frags. I dont think this interferes with tc savings.

Yeah I get like 4+ fragments from arms race every week without even trying much. I only safe up the beast searches and use for that and rest is mostly timing.
