Ir and AR always got the be ready to defend when territory gets attacked.

Jungle is like have 5 people online to defend and do tiles. When they're out next few are ready to do the same while you can relax half the day. There was never a need for most of the alliance to be online at the same time.

The r5 of an alliance can set certain people to be able to move freely into their alliance (only 50 people though). So if it's a regular occurrence that you visit a particular alliance for events for example, it makes joining them a lot easier and quicker.
If you are talking about joining any alliance in general, then this won't be relevant and you will need to just apply and wait if you haven't pre-arranged joining.

The shelter zoom-out update is truly one of the worst updates ever released.
This is not an improvement, and it is not optimization.
It is a clear step backward.

I have spent over $10,000 on this game together with my stream viewers,
and because of that, I was fully committed to playing this game
seriously and long-term.

However, because of this update,
I am now seriously considering requesting Google refunds with my viewers
and quitting the game altogether.

IGG has no problem taking large amounts of money from its players,
yet when it comes to server costs,
you hide behind the excuse of an “optimization patch”
and force a feature that nobody asked for onto the community.

The screen is still cluttered with icons everywhere,
and instead of fixing the core UI issues that actually matter,
you chose to add a completely useless zoom function.
Why?

This update is not about improving user experience.
It is an update that deceives and disrespects players.

If this kind of management continues,
not only myself but also my viewers
will have no reason to stay in this game.

Designing updates around a small group abusing automation
is not improving the game, it’s catering to exploiters.

And if most regular players leave because of this update,

Improved scene-switching mechanism: This was so unnecessary. It feels like you limited the freedom of roaming around quickly from shelter to world by zooming out and in whenever we wanted. Now you forcing us to tap each time an extra button to switch between world and shelter. At least add a toggle button on the Customized Settings for users that dont want this new feature.

There used to be an option to copy someone else's shelter. Then you could build your own shelter in the same way with a single click. Now that's no longer possible. Some shelter have creative designs, but now you can't see them anymore.

The shelter zoom is super-annoying. Each time my muscle memory keeps scrolling, and after I see scrolling doesn't work (again) another action of clicking is needed to click a button all the way down in the corner.

The user interface designer should get a promotion as toilet cleaner who always has to lift the toilet seat to clean, but can't because the seat only lifts by pressing a button just out of reach of the toilet.
