This will also give you the option to play with superNova (if on Windows) or even Flash and highscores submitting (if you have a browser supporting Flash)

Indeed, so one would need to ever use outdated browsers... or one of the smaller browsers like Pale Moon, Basilisk, Waterfox Classic... which still support Flash (alongside a lot of other plugins) and will never stop.

For flash support is preferred to use a different browser, since it is a potential security issue (and the main reason why flash is now deprecated). Use it for kong or any major flash website, but avoid usage on different websites, especially on pesky ones
