#Surviv.io Account Issues

@round stone Here's what a guy named Johnny said to me on June 3rd of this year on said helpdesk, "I understand that the lack of communication from the development team can be frustrating. However, the support team does give the feedback that is sent to us to the development team, and they choose what to do with the information provided. The surviv.io team is really small, so issues that players think should be fixed in a certain amount of time are usually inaccurate"
It's strange that there hasn't been any transparency between CM and community for 2 years that I'm here to find out why.
Aside from that, we'll have to do what we always do. Wait.
I'll eventually make a ticket about the matter once I gained enough points
For you my friend, just play on the trainee. It's underwhelming but it's what it is for now
Yep. Though I would be surprised if "the surviv.io team is really small" right now, as it seems to actually be nonexistent.
I'd imagine it would be a labor of love if they keep it going. Not like I know anything but NFT focus seems to be the thing now and surviv.io I think was more for the mobile game push.
probably
kinda strange to be so ignorant for years but who knows what their plan was
I'd like to have a decent convo with the people I found in the surviv.io server and see what they know about surviv before (as in 2020) and nowadays. Since, the CMs haven't really done anything
less, looking at what the game has become now
we just had that conversation there
Yeah, it's the only mobile game (besides GOF2) that I have played for more than a month (going on two years now for mobile, 3 for pc).
Looking at the current trend for mobile "games", surviv seems to be a far superior mobile app. Plus, the way Nick and Justin set up the mobile version wa sjust absolutely genius. I've never seen a mobile port done so well (besides GOF2).
Unfortunately, I'm a few people removed from knowing enough about Surviv to update you on anything
What I can say is that I fully support these kinds of discussions in this space and I do forward them to the relevant people when I can. However, what they choose to do with that information is outside my pay-grade.
I hope you don't mind me asking but, are there people in this server that worked with or on surviv.io? Whether it been dev, posting updates or community management. Since I got some questions I'd like to pose at some point
None that I know of. We leave most of that to the Surviv server.
That's the problem Adrian. No one talks or responds ever. All of them are hiding in the member list. Not only that but I'm assuming it's the only kong acquired server (that I joined so far) that has the mobile verification thing up that many people complained about. I can't get in and ask (there's a few hundred with the same issue).
I've even went to helpdesk about the issue but they can't do anything discord related
Also, the moderators cannot do anything in there as one said they're suppressed of their permissions
oof, yea that's frustrating! I can try to forward something "up the chain" and hope it gets to the right person. We're all pretty independent teams, so I have no insight or say in the state of that server. I wish I could be more helpful.
Thanks a lot Adrian. If possible, let me know if anything happens
Sorry for nagging you again. Wdym independent? Different departments are not connected in some form? Could you explain what you meant by that?
I'll take a guess at it.
So imagine you and a few people made a game. You all find someone to pay you money for the game. Maybe continue paying you and your team based on ad revenue or w/e because they need you all to keep the game updated.
You and your team are in your own space doing your own thing. The publisher of your game is somewhere else doing w/e.
Very interesting
Strong guess. In this case it's that us community managers are assigned our projects and we try to not "step on each other's toes" as much as we can. Additionally, most of us are working remote, so not much information leaks between projects without direct questions.
Oh I see
As I said before, if any thing with this improves, let me know 👍
@left ember any update with this?
I've mentioned the concerns and forwarded some screenshots from here, but unfortunately I probably won't be hearing back directly about anything. You'll likely have to wait for an announcement still
🙁
The post in feedback has some info too
