Wherever you go we will follow. I know you’ve got the post telling people about discord on the old forum but for some reason it just doesn’t jump out at me when I’m on there. What if you posted like you used to but for a few months you just put in the body: join us on discord and the link straight to here.

A post with the current event name and date might get people to click more? I know I’d have been here sooner if that had been the case. The top posts of the page (at least to me) is usually faqs and server help/rules.

Either way however you want to do it I’ll support ya!!!

I am trying but Discord, even though I am N_itro user is trying to break my messages up...so the old format needs to be edited to be smaller? no sure why I am getting errors for that 2 hours. (sigh)

I cannot even type N itro as one word even though Discord sells that to get premium users to purchase a monthly, But if one cannot even say that name, that does not sound well planned.

I loved all the feedback and compliments over the past years, and I am very sorry that this is further complicated by a SECOND move in the same year. It does not look good.

Hello, and sorry about all the confusion this change has caused. I wasn't completely aware of the system y'all were using. Yes, my hope was that the old game specific chatrooms could start again using this forum style, but I'm learning some of the unique needs of this sub-community.

I've moved all the old channels to an archive, but I've specifically kept #idle-frontier-archive and #royal-idle-archive viewable to everyone, so that you can revisit and link to the old threads there. All I've done is disabled new messages from being sent there so that they act as archives rather than active channels.

I'd like to explore the pros and cons to this new system for a bit to give it a chance, but if it becomes too much of an issue, I'm willing to revert the changes for those two channels specifically.

What is required to "explore".

There is no one here.

When Kong dumped the old web forum we lost 95% of our players who did not want to come to discord. And now we got moved twice in one year, and so many are stuck trying to follow us here.

Heck, even for myself, I need to go the old archived idle frontier to get the link to come here because the structure is a disaster.

IF/RI decline is due to idle settlers in general being bad, plus the ads

Named after the mechanics of the earliest Settlers entries, Idle Settlers often have gachy/cardy upgrades for the "managers", who are sometimes just standing there and sometimes ARE the shuttles

In Idle Settlers, there's always a Causeway along which a single Taxman rides, collecting from the store dropoffs.

Idle Frontier and Royal Idle both belong to a class of idle games that basically use mechanics borrowed from the old Settlers games
