Looks like Xbox App on PC

Have you tried reinstalling the game?

I installed the game from both the Xbox app and the Microsoft store and the error keeps coming back

I also reinstalled the Xbox app and the gaming service

It's working again. The gaming service was causing problems. Unfortunately, you can only uninstall and install it using the powershell tool.
