Cheers, how do I know the privacy setting of created voice channels?
I thought, the little lock on the top left of the channel tells it is locked.
But this would be strange for 2 reasons:

  1. I set up the creator channel to create every channel public. Still when a user creates a channel, the lock appears.
  2. when I use the command /voice privacy and set the status of the channel manually to unlocked, the bot confirms that it is unlocked but the "lock-symbol" on the top left of the channel tag still stays.

That lock icon you see is a built-in Discord indicator – it means the @everyone role does not have permission to connect to the channel.

This can happen if you've set up a Member Role in @dense needle. In that case, only users with that role can access the voice channels – even if they appear "locked" for @everyone, they're still open for those with the required role. 120_cuuute

To check whether a channel is locked by @dense needle, you can use the /voice info command – it will show you the current privacy status.

Tip: If you want a visible indicator in the channel name, you can use the {privacy} placeholder when setting up the temporary voice channel names.
