Couldn't see a post specifically talking about this, but it seems like the damage calculations are messed up or bugged in some capacity.
I've run into several scenarios where basic attacks from basic enemies almost take out my entire health bar in one shot.
On the other hand, attacks from Crowns do next to nothing in terms of damage.
Fall damage also often makes me lose the majority of my health from what I wouldn't really consider a significant fall.
Whether this is a bug or some error with how damage is being calculated, I really hope it can be fixed soon, cuz it's pretty aggravating to lose so much health for no real reason.

To expand, at one point a dirk hit me with the attack where it sprints across the ground, and that almost killed me.
Two of the exploding dirks caught me in their death last explosions and that almost killed me, even though those explosions usually are nowhere near enough for two to do that much damage.
In a lab a single wave of shots from one of the burst eye-bat enemies again almost killed me.
In the same lab a single hit from a snail almost killed me.
That's all the situations I could recall.
I probably would've died in that one lab if not for the auto-heal.
Also, this has happened with Rondo, Goro, and Ravona.
my ravona seems to be very receptive to AOE attacks. Explosions left by dying enemies and bigger spray of bullets absolutely decimate her entire healthbar almost instantly but some of the attacks that feel much more threatening barely deal any damage to me (maw breath attack for example)
Yeah, for the Crowns even when they did hit me dealt little to no damage.
Thank you!
I want to clarify that the white dirks (exploding), burst bat (it's either tech or gold I can't recall off the top of my head), and everything that spawns in labs are more powerful variants than the basic enemies, and so those will hit harder. Labs are intended to be much more difficult than the overgrowth.
For the white dirks that explode there is currently a bug that we're hotfixing wherein they are wrongly inheriting the player's status effects with their explosion, which is causing them to hit a lot harder than they should be sometimes.
I'll have design and QA investigate further though.
Oh that might be it
I took 92 damage from a bomb dirk
Even with certain mobs being stronger variants, it still seems off for single attacks to do so much damage.
Especially since it never really happened before, or at least not nearly as often.
And they should look different not the same
So players can see them and change how they approach
It’s like fighting a level 100 orc while wearing base gear — it looks like a regular orc, but it hits like a truck. Since there’s no visual difference to show it’s stronger, we rush in without thinking and get one-shotted. If it looked different to signal its strength, we’d approach it more carefully
There is a color difference
Aren't they the white ones?
Some of the damage tiers look really close to each other
I've had the same issue with gun dirks that their silhouette is hard to read sometimes
