i generally judge it by a few things

• does the speed change create noticeable audio artifacts
• is the speed change the only thing i can focus on (in other words, is it distractingly bad)
• for slowing down a song, does it make the vocalist(s) sound "drunk"
• does it fuck with the mixing

u dont have to consider these specific things but

thats just how i personally look at it
