This is more of a report than a bug report.
If this was intentional, feel free to ignore or delete my post.

In the current version 3.0.2 (and seemingly in previous versions as well), the path global\tiles\act1\barracks only contains bareforge.ds1, barnforge.ds1, barsforge.ds1, and barstheme1.ds1. Since barstheme1.ds1 includes the blade-shaped Reimagined monster, I thought this might be intentional, but barwforge.ds1 is currently missing.

However, looking at lvlprest.txt, all four directions of the ds1 files are listed. If you check the attached video link, you can see that when that specific map pool is loaded, the blade-shaped monster is missing next to the Smith.

So, I tested it again by placing the same number of blade monsters as in the other ds1 configurations, and it now appears correctly, just like the other directions. Please check it out. I'm also attaching the modified ds1 file with the added blades just in case.

Looks like you know more about this than the rest of us who're currently active. LUL

Of course, I downloaded the latest version, but I also checked GitHub just in case and confirmed that it is missing there as well.

Probably a simple oversight back in 2.0 when the extra lt swords were added.

#

Vinge made those edits and I've not used the program on D2R yet I've got to learn it to pick up on the end-game stuff though.

I see. Of course, it’s not a major issue. However, it felt a bit inconsistent for only one direction to be missing. I used the existing Reimagined configuration for that ds1 file, so feel free to use it as is, or you can add it yourself. I just wanted to report it to you.

Throw up a PR honestly, even if we merge the fix we don't have to make you a mod contributor if you don't want it. Otherwise I'll get to it eventually.

I'm just a regular user. I don't know anything about programming, so I'm not familiar with GitHub either. 😭

We all started somewhere, it's not too hard if you use the desktop app and it is nice being able to make commits that you can revert to

Ya kno, lol, we HAVE had people ask, "Where is smith swords"

If you aren't comfy with it I'll do it, up to you. I can help answer questions about it, I just don't teach it so well. My first use was achieved via Youtube. Edit: I won't be mean and tag him in, lawl.

No, it’s fine. I’ve actually wanted to try github it myself. If it doesn't work out, then so be it. But wouldn't it be more manageable than editing .txt files? Even if I fail, the blade monsters from the other three directions will still be there to welcome us.

Got it. I’ll give it a try in a little bit. haha

wow. This is fascinating. So, when I add the files through the desktop app, they actually show up there. I get it now. This is a really fun experience. thanks
