The JetPad team here 👋🏽 — we’re excited to officially kick off our journey as part of SCF #34!

JetPad is building a smart, non-custodial wallet to bring real-world financial access to Africa’s underbanked youth. With the support of the SCF, we're laser-focused on integrating Stellar-native features that make stablecoin-powered payments as seamless and everyday as sending a text.

In this round, we’re focused on:
- Enabling on/off ramps across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda through SEP-24 integrations

 - Powering cross-border and day-to-day transactions using Stellar USDC and JetPad Tags

 - Launching utility bill payments directly in USDC

 - Building an on/off-ramp marketplace optimized for Africa’s young, digital-first population

 - Laying the groundwork for Soroban-based savings products to help users hedge against inflation

🚀 JetPad Smart Wallet Progress Update | Stellar Integration 🪐

Hi everyone! We're excited to share a quick update on our progress. — here’s where we currently stand on our deliverables:

🔗 SEP-24 Integration (On/Off Ramp Support)
We’ve initiated integration discussions with Busha and Yellow Card to enable seamless fiat on/off ramps across Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, and Nairobi. The integration of their anchor infrastructure into JetPad Smart Wallet is underway and progressing as planned.

✅ Status: In Progress — Partnerships initiated, integration ongoing.

💸 JetPad Tag <> Stellar USDC Account Mapping
We're building infrastructure that links every JetPad tag to a unique Stellar wallet. This enables simplified P2P and cross-border USDC transactions using just a tag — no need for long addresses.

✅ Status: ~70% Complete — tag-linking infrastructure nearing completion.

⚡ Utility Bill Payments with Stellar USDC
We’re halfway done integrating multiple bill payment APIs. This will allow users to instantly pay for essential services (electricity, airtime, data, etc.) directly from their Stellar USDC balances.

✅ Status: 50% Complete — UI and transaction logic partially implemented.

🔄 Cross-Chain Swap (Interoperability Focus)
We're also halfway through developing the cross-chain swap engine. This will allow users to seamlessly convert between EVM assets and Stellar USDC.

✅ Status: 50% Complete — Swap infrastructure and UI in active development.

💡 We're on track across all deliverables, with TestFlight builds scheduled to roll out progressively for testing once core functionalities are stabilized.

Hi everyone! We’re back with our final update on Tranche 1 deliverables. Over the past few weeks, we’ve made major progress across all key components of the JetPad Smart Wallet MVP:

✅ SEP-24 Integration (On/Off Ramp)
Integration with Yellow Card and Busha is now live in our TestFlight build. Users in Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya can deposit and withdraw using local currency, instantly converting to/from Stellar USDC.

✅ JetPad Tag-Linked Stellar Wallets
Each user’s JetPad tag is now mapped to a unique Stellar wallet. Users can receive and send USDC simply by using their tag — no need to manage public keys.

✅ Cross-chain Swaps
We’ve built and deployed the initial version of our token swap feature. Users can swap EVM tokens (like ETH, BNB) directly into Stellar USDC — supporting Stellar’s mission of seamless interoperability.

✅ Utility Payments (On-chain with Stellar USDC)
Users can now pay for electricity, internet, airtime, and more directly from the app using Stellar USDC — fully tested in our sandbox environment.

We’re proud of the progress so far and excited for what’s next. Thanks to the SCF and Stellar community for the support in helping us build practical real-world tools for financial access in Africa 🌍💸🧪
