To get familiar with Stellar: quest.stellar.org
Then you can continue with Soroban Quest and RPCiege to get familiar with Soroban.
And it you want to learn more of Rust, I'd recommend the Rust Book
Those would be my recommendations 🙂
Hello, what background do u have in program sphere except solidity?
the basic stuff little bit of html css node js , and bit of java
I am new developer to Soroban too, from my side
- I have started rom basics of rust, they have book of rust, 10 chapters - ok.
- I have read the doc, youtube lesson about soroban ecosystem.
- I have started the quests but they are not very interesting, thats why around 5 quests I have completed.
- I have written my contracts and I have tried write test for it.
- Now I'm implementing paltalabs video series. (You can find in video-content)
- I want to release my own pet project.
- After that I think that I will have basic knowledge of soroban + simple practise
It is my plan, maybe other people have better way to achieve result and they will share opinion)
ohhh greatttt lemme hear others point of view for now then acc to that i may combine all views make a good plan for me, your plan is damn good brother
btw me being from india , stellar recently had a collab with rise in , they have courses on rust stellar and sorobon can you just take a quick glance of them and tell me your opinion on it
Not at the moment, but if you can post the link I (or maybe someone else) will try to have a look when I can
@worldly abyss I just wanted to share also as I was pretty much in the same boat late last year. I had 10 years of programming experience but nothing with Rust, functional languages, nor Soroban. Everyone learns in their own way, but I can recommend what worked for me:
Start with the Rust Book. There's a interactive one that ensures that you understand what you read: https://rust-book.cs.brown.edu/
Then to understand Stellar in general I recommend the Stellar quests. They are quite straight forward and wont take long. Also you'll get cool badges!
I personally did not use the Soroban quest and only scraped the surface with RPCiege so I can't say anything about them. I am sure they are good. But what I did was that I went through all of the examples and tutorials in the Stellar docs: https://developers.stellar.org/docs
After these steps I started to build my own stuff and got back to the docs if I got stuck. Now after ten(ish) months of rust and Soroban I am feeling really confident with it and I've built some nice stuff already! 🙂
greattt thankss alottt mate
sureee
hi, as a rust engineer, i can help you
@worldly abyss why have u chosen the stellar system? Ethereum system looks good fms 🤝
i asked a few peeps they were like better shift to rust (it being robust)
idk broo i am too confused
