but XBOX controls are generally good and also some players on other devices (especially Mobile) use them

as you see console is only a small part of the playerbase

you need controls for the controller basically, for driving etc. ,
as XBOX controllers dont have many buttons (compared to a keyboard), thats a bit complicated
