Launcher can't detect mods

No matter what I try I now just get "no mods detected" in my d2rlauncher.

When I'm installing new mods from the d2rlauncher (for example Eastern Sun Remodded) i get the message that the mod has been installed, and the mod shows up in my d2r mods folder.
I can run run the mod from bnet but with some "an evil force" bullshit as well as interact not working for controller.

I've tried both reinstalling and rebooting and giving the folder exception for windows defender.

I'm using the latest version of D2Launcher v.2.6.8

I'm a bit confused by you using battle.net...normally you'd use the launcher to run the mod, kinda the point.
So likely using incorrect launch argument or such. Please show your D2R install folder though

I was just using bnet to check if the mods actually had installed after they said they had (since my launcher is just saying "no mods detected") in an effort to pinpoint where the issue is.

Ohh so just delete all my launcher folders, re-install d2r and then make some new launcher folder?

Or are you talking abour remodded? Remodded I'm running from d2rlan not the launcher

no, you have multiple installs setup it sounds like. Please go to your bnet launcher, then go to game settings and show me what it has for your d2r install path

In D2RLaunch Menu > My Files > D2RLaunch User Data > Delete Folder(s)

Try launcher again after...if same issue, then:
Go back to this location, but instead send me the file inside the folder you see

It doesn't let me access D2RLaunch User Data - when I press it it only gets that blue marker indicating it should be active

I would recommend re-downloading D2RLaunch then. I mean I can ask for more screenshots and such...but it sounds like that folder/setup got corrupted somehow

It should be as simple as dragging the entire D2RLaunch folder somewhere, then running it
If you still have issues, you might want to try using Windows Screen Recorder, then can just upload clip of whats going on

Deleted all old folders, rebooted, re-installed and tried again and the exact same thing happened again.

Wrong order but you get that - first I install and get the "mod installed" message and then it's still just blank and no mods can be detected.

Please send me the file in the d2rlauncher user data folder; C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\D2RLaunch

I got 3 sub-folders containing user.config - is that the problem?

Well it's all pointing to correct spots also. Please show error log file in your error log folder

So this seems like it might even be internet-related as weird as it might sound...the error log just kinda crashes out, which is weird....
I would honestly give https://windscribe.com/download a shot, it's a free limited VPN I've recommend dozens of times in the past for similar troubleshooting steps
Some ISP's have weird issues connecting to Google or Github, etc...and I couldn't tell you exactly why.
Sorry for the extended hassle, but something seems to be interfering with the load process
