If you are having an issue with the launcher opening to a blank screen, please upload your error log file (Launcher Menu > My Files > Error Logs).
I will try to isolate what is going on and have a fix ready as soon as i'm able. Please be patient.

Same error as others have reported. Not sure what precisely triggered it but in my case, I enabled fast load for Eastern Sun, then decided to remove it by reinstalling the mod (download new mod option). I was able to use the launcher just fine until that reinstallation. I know the log mentions an object not being instantiated so it probably just has something to do with it trying to access something that no longer exists since the reinstall. Not sure how that would effect the entire app but yeah

Interface was showing but not working (none of the side buttons did anything except expand/retract the categories, the buttons within did nothing). After updating, showing only gray on the main area, with the side panel still visible, still non-functional.

Similar issue when trying to use yupgoolg mod, compiled so cannot see/use files in the mpq as it's not a folder. Breaks the entire app when it cannot load it seems.

I am new to D2 modding and i just fucked myself over, i had started with a "MyCustomMod" created from the launcher but i broke something and wanted to start from scratch and just out of habit my stupid ass shift+delete'd the "MyCustomMod" folder instead of doing it via the launcher (Idk why i thought thats a good idea) and after thet D2RLaunch is just blank and even re-extracting and re-updating D2RLaunch its still broken, and idk what to do, none of the buttons inside D2RLaunch are doing anything now and its blank, i guess D2RLaunch is looking for that MyCustomMod along with its files to launch now since it was the last mod i ran it with and refuses to go to other mods/default out?

#

i tried copying the Vanilla++ mod folder and renaming it to "MyCustomMod" just so it has a mod with that name again to find but that didn't work xD

#

Ok i fixed it by making a new mod folder called MyCustomMod and created a folder inside it called MyCustomMod.mpq, copied over the modinfo.json and MyUserSettings.json files from Vanilla++ to the MyCustomMod.mpq folder and then edited with a text editor the .json files and changed where it refenreces Vanilla++ to instead reference MyCustomMod and restarting the launcher now it managed to find what it was looking for and now i could set Vanilla++ as default mod finally delete the MyCustomMod folder and re-create it inside the launcher

#

@urban widget I am gonna leave this here for anyone encountering the same problem but anyways, this clearly shows that you need to implement defaulting out to a default mod if it fails to find what its looking for

#

You probably are already aware

Could you add a check for the Json. File in the folder parent to the mpq? Like a sibling to the mpq not inside it? To allow the mods that are compressed to work with the launcher?

#

Or does it already do that. I haven't tested

also fixed by bruteforcing the folder + modinfo.json file.

I have the following problems

This indicates a network issue. Either something with ISP or AV/firewall blocking program, etc.
It's timing out while trying to get the list of mods from web
