#How to enable on a self-host instance same features that are available on the cloud version

Hi 👋

I'm spinning up on a AWS EC2 the docker compose stack (v2.3.0), but i can't make to get "Layouts", "Topics" and "Translations" visible. I noticed that are some environment variables that suggest that would toggle on/off some features. But messing with those didn't do the trick either.

Could someone point me to the right direction. Am i missing something here ?

ps. btw i'm spinning this up using terraform as IaaC on AWS. Happy to share it if anyone else is looking for something similar.

another point i got in the meantime, is that the navigation options are protected with a permission/claim based approach. I'm assuming these claims should come in the JWT.

Is this a limitation for a self-hosted instance? Those claims aren't added to the token ?

I will confirm on topics feature,

  • Layouts is cloud only feature
  • Translation is cloud only + included in team and enterprise plan

Yeah I’m using 2.3.0 images and the topics feature is not available yet. I’m assuming that will be made available in the vNext (?) @neon topaz could you confirm this ?

Thanks in advance 😉
