Oi, that is frustrating. It pretty much covered the questions I had. You are able to resume, but no cards are dealt. It's not even frozen, just no cards dealt.

And you were able to successfully update the client earlier? any trouble there?

Ok I messed with the auto play/ speed buttons and it looked like a few cards got played, but now completely frozen

No issues with updating, just normal

Restarted game and it's counted as a loss.

Tried an arena battle which went fine. Was gonna avoid it but I guess I'll try another rumble battle

I was able to play out the rest of the day's rumble battles. Still, reported this as a bug. If we see any more examples please don't be shy about reporting them.

I was able to play mine without issue after closing and reopening the app as well.
I'm glad because also a Google Pixel like boxhead so was hoping not to have the same issue

I was told to reset the cache, but I'm on mobile, and not a tech genius

Surrendering is what I had to do. It was either throw away one match or five matches

Dangit, was hoping this was a problem with a short window. Please write in to support at Kon.gg/throwdownhelp or through the in-game button. We haven't been able to track this down so far so collecting as much info as possible on each player's device/operating system/account could be very helpful.

But my game sometimes gets laggy for a sec or two
It does not freeze completely.
Once or Twice only when i play and other times it's all smooth

It is. I appreciate the additional reports. It's not an easy one as the reproduction rate is so low.

It's basically the worst combo. It happens rarely, but when it does, it really ruins your day.

If it's any help mine personally only does it when I leave game running, maybe pop on here for 5, back to game and whichever mode I select 1st freezes.

You can select the auto function to clear it but then run risk of a loss. Based on last few 1v2 sieges it could be a big factor.

got it on the adventure islands for the first time in a while
not sure if its a factor or not, but i just got one of the pc rewards before starting this match. still no idea what ultimately couldve caused this though since the other times its come up i hadnt earned any cards beforehand

More & more player reports are indicating it could be something with letting the game sit idle, tabbing out and then back into the game, or interrupting your internet connection.

I'd suggest trying to limit actions like that while we work on a fix.

it was the same behavior when upon resuming the game you got stuck in the state you were left - if you had cards played prior you could have clicked them or your hero but you were stuck in this limbo

but it did not happen every time

sometimes you could continue the match

i remember that there was a patch dedicated to this behavior between BGEs

since it was that long ago (and we do not have dev logs ;)) sorry i cant be more precise

It happened again when I was just on mobile with no disconnect. This time the battle started but the card deal animation froze so I closed the application. When I restart the app it asks to resume or surrender Match. I resume and opponent plays their first card but my hand isn't being dealt. This is where it freezes again, but the buttons are still functional. The only solution I've found is to just surrender to get out of it.

Surrender is the only way out I've found which really sucks

You can try to push the auto-fight button, and then the skip button. It sometimes works to finish the battle, although you may lose due to auto.

Had to forfeit the first match of melee today.

• loaded game fresh
• went to research tab and refreshed researches
• started first match, no cards loaded
• closed and reopened game, chose 'resume'
• first opponent card came out, and no cards on my side with no way to continue
• closed, reloaded, hit resume, same thing
• clicked the auto play and fast forward, buttons depressed but no cards came out
• closed and opened game, no resume and the previous match was logged as a loss

Hi @astral carbon I did surrender for that match in order to get out of the freeze screen. Hope this helps

Is anybody else having issues trying to battle and having the server break down and then it counts as a loss?

5 matches each time the match starts The server would break down. Kick me back to the main screen and then when it loaded it wouldn't ask me surrender or continue. It would just bring me back to the main menu and then when I click on this it shows that I have attacked and then I surrendered. This is ridiculous

Just happened again went to start the next match and this happened and just kicked me back to the main screen taking a loss again
