Idk why this happens but if I press 14-1 and then 14-2 a pink box replaces 14-1. It’s weird because it’s literally just that specific combination of actions.

It's a cache issue. The graphics didn't load properly. Clearing your cache and restarting will get rid of it. Happens often.
