Just went to check it out after seeing the announcement and it says everything is sold out already? I never purchased anything from the back alley so is that supposed to happen or is this an issue?

I had the same problem. Mine was fixed by an app update so make sure your game is up to date.

Sounds like you might just not be updated to the most recent version. Can you check for an update please. That resolved it for the few others reporting the same issue 🙂

Many thanks for the answer. I found out earlier that I didn't had the latest version. After the update everything works fine. 😊
