#abnormal lag from bosses

Hey! I love playing this mod and so far everything is great with one exception, lag. I have a strong enough pc to run terraria 1660 super r5 2600 oc 4.0 ghz 16 gb ddr4 1tb ssd and adequate cooling. When I fight almost any boss my frames drop to about 5 in certain parts of fights (moon lord center eye beam is a big one) and while monitoring my pc I see that my cpu and gpu hover around 30% including all background processes. I have tried reduced graphical settings and turning off bloom and qol mods and still nothing has helped. An even stranger aspect to the issue is that when I host a multiplayer server my frame issue is completely fixed and the bosses are not killing my pc however there is an unbeliever le amount of de sync to the point where I can’t kill the bosses because it keeps rolling back health. Once again my cpu gpu remain at 30% usage. My memory is also around 50% at 7 gigs used across the whole system. I would also like to mention that all my components are running cool and not even breaking 50c. I’ve set task priority to high ran as administrator made sure it’s using all my cores uninstalled and reinstalled and only one thing has reduced the lag slightly which is killing all npcs in the world. I’ve tested boss fights disabling mods 1 by 1 to see if one of the mods is the problem but nothing changed throughout all the mods. I am using windows 10 if that is important and both my terraria and tmodloader are installed on the same drive and updated to the latest tmodloader version. I even installed a older tmodloader version to see if that would somehow help and it didn’t. I am out of options so I came here to see if anyone could help me. Any responses are appreciated 😊

I think someone else was having the same issue as me and they figured it out in the big reports

I think the problem is terraria not using my hardware but I have no idea how to fix that outside of task manager which didn’t work

I would be fine with slight lag but beating the meatballs is very very difficult when you see them dashing on your screen for 2 frames and have input delay until 2 frames after that

I can run doom eternal at 60fps on nightmare graphics and I doubt this mod is so poorly optimized that it uses more resources than that

I have even tried changing from full screen to windowed and launching tmodloader from the local games folder

The mods outside of infernum and cal are: alchemist npc lite, cal vanities, cal music, magic storage, weaponout, basic automated mining, luiafk reimagined, boss checklist

disable boss checklist and never use it again

I thought I checked every mod for fps changes but I will disable boss checklist and see if it improves thanks
