Aspiring doctor about to finish bachelors and apply for medschool so take what I say with a grain of salt. Basically this guy is 10,000% correct. If you want a lasting change in weight you need to do it slowly over time and not super fast. Effectively at first your liver which stores a lot of glucose as glycogen will burn off its reserves and you may not see much of a difference but once it's tapped out your body then relies on its fat reserves for the extra boosts in energy it needs on occasion.
If you starve yourself too fast your body will make you fatter faster when you go off your diet.
Ideally cutting out candy, sweet iced tea, chips, and soda will help a ton along with instant foods like Ramen
You can still make Ramen but you can't do the instant versions. You'll have to make your own home made Ramen with lots of veggies and good protein foods like eggs, meat of your choice or tofu if you desire vegetarian and so on
And exercise regularly
If you sit around at your computer all day you can start slow and go for a walk
Just get your body moving
If you have a friend that can help motivate you then do that
Theres also lots of exercises that you can do without needing gym equipment
If you're aiming for ideal cosplay body of a specific character there are exercises that you can do to tone the muscles in certain ways but there's no specific exercise that you can do to get rid of the fat on one specific body part while keeping the fat on another
It's kind of a gain the fat evenly lose the fat evenly
As for how to motivate yourself to do the exercises
I'm lost on that one cause I'm pre-diabetic and I only lost weight this semester because I decided to fast walk all over campus for my classes and follow the things I said just said cutting out lots of instant foods and candy and sweet tea
Now that the semester is over idk how to motivate myself to move again and exercise 
One step at a time I guess I'll see what I can do so I don't get diabetes

The idea is "cowitness", you still have the irons able to look through the dot so if the red dot dies, you still have irons to use that are zeroed to target. Lately its been falling out of favor, but there's people that still like to use it if possible. Myself included.
