As for 2D and 3D, I got the gist on 2D, but 3D, I'm still working on that. I always practice daily.

Gray polygons are like the default untextured color of stuff in 3d programs

Nodes are more referred to things that make texture look cool in programs such as Substance Designer and Unreal Engine

Autodesk textures also have nodes iirc

Well roughly I am learning that, despite my collage isn't really going into that Consept yet, tho it's interesting which helps to make the basis of the modeling before adding textures

Blue Archive despite looking super simple of a game definitely went through the graybox process especially given in-game we play in their chibi forms. A decent amount of time spent making the environments of the game whether a cafe dorm or some random stage definitely required the environment to not only match how the props would be arranged but also whether if the interior would fit the chibi-stylized characters we have.
