on top of there being up to 10 skills to juggle around, there's a lot going on at once
a bit hard to process allof it

that's why pausing the battle helps, also once you battled the boss many times (or just read the doc of set skills/watched many video clears) you'll get the hang of it, not many people get comfortable at using 10 student on their first experience, it's next level gameplay.

things like levels, equip, and UE give fixed stat increases
