#Osume-compatible spacebar foams?

I like to reduce the hollow sound of the spacebar with foam. My go-to foams provider (StupidFish) unfortunately doesn't sell a foam specifically for Osume spacebars, and I don't know what the mold looks like since I'm still waiting on my set. Are there any foams that are known to work well with the Osume mold, such as the KBDfans foam (which is ostensibly generic)? Thanks.

here’s a reference, but you could maybe get a generic one and add the scores yourself hmmge

It appears that the StupidFish NicePBT foams may fit, although its hard to tell for certain just by overlaying the two. I'll have to report back.

I use the generic kbdfans ones with no problems

I can confirm that StupidFish NicePBT foams are a perfect fit.

for these kinds of foams, do they just tension hold from application or are they adhered somehow?

Kbdfans has a sticky side

I have not tried the KBDfans foams (yet), but the StupidFish foams completely fill the inside of the spacebar, so in theory they're slightly better. (Not to mention material differences.)

@prime rover maybe i should be trimming them or something?

Oh, I have no idea. My tastes changed and I stopped using spacebar foams quite some time ago.

You can try cutting off the foam where the switch and stabs would be. It should still friction-fit alright.
