Hoodie sizing

I was confused by the sizing for the heavy weight hoodie as I have tried to compare it to my own hoodies. I normally wear a large, but the sizing details on the website don't line up well with my collection. I was wondering if anybody knows if the hoodies run small or large in comparison to otherwise "average" sizing. I am sure that it is hard to judge because sizing varies so much, but i would appreciate input. 🙂

Midweight too apparently - ordered a large and it fits like a dress, but in a comfy way so I'm keeping it lol
