It has come to our attention that a fake Creature and LAND collection has been created on OpenSea and has unfortunately resulted in some of our community members getting scammed. **“opensea.io/collection/highrise-land-7”**AND opensea.io/collection/highrise-nft are NOT Official Highrise LAND/Creature Collections. Purchasing from these links can result in the loss of your funds and assets.

Creatures are NOT purchasable on OpenSea as they remain on a Layer-2 Blockchain!

For security reasons, please ensure you are ONLY clicking the links provided by us in the #official-links channel! Experienced scammers know how to make a false link look legitimate!

@everyone Just a friendly reminder that we STRONGLY discourage you from participating in any form of trust trades. This includes any offline trading of money, Highrise gold and/or items for NFTs.

There is NO guarantee that either party will follow through with their verbal promise. Participating in non-secure trades puts your money and assets at risk and there is no way to retrieve what was lost as a result of a scam occurring.

Although a user may seem legitimate and reliable, this may not always be the case. ‼️

This week we’ve received an influx of users joining the server impersonating staff and active members of the community for the purpose of scamming. Please verify who you’re speaking with. Although they may have the same Discord username and profile picture, their server roles and hashtag may differ. Scammers do watch the channels for potential targets. They know which users are active, which users are trusted and reliable and which users frequently participate in non-secure trades. 🚨

Discord staff will NEVER direct message you outside of the server. We will always communicate through announcements, general channels and the #server-support❓ system. We suggest updating your privacy settings to disable direct messages from server members as an added precaution.

Highrise Staff will NEVER ask for your password. They don’t require passwords to access accounts. Any social media platform claiming to be Highrise that asks for your password to fix something or have you claim a prize is a SCAM!

There is no such thing as an IMX Middleman Discord or Safety Server! Any invitation you receive to one of these servers is a SCAM!

Users are responsible for their own money and assets. It’s important to do your own research! You can always refer to our informative guides in #pet-info , #creatureclub-info and our #official-links channel.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t be afraid to ask! We’d rather you do this than lose out on something valuable!

Hi @everyone ! 👋

I just wanted to touch base and notify you of some of the interventions that were put in place to maintain server safety [and hopefully prevent some common scams from occurring!] While we did have a lot of protective barriers in place, we've recently amplified them!

1. A new bot was added to the server to identify any new accounts or alt accounts that are attempting to join. This process verifies how recent the account was created, determines if an IP address is already registered to an account within the server, as well as VPN/proxy use. Every account receives a reputation score and if the account falls below the server’s safety threshold, the account is immediately flagged and forced to undergo a verification process. This verification process includes verifying through one of the following: Steam, Twitter, Reddit, Google Captcha, Overwatch or YouTube. This will also deter bots from joining the server as they’ll struggle to complete the verification process. All of these interactions are logged within the server and reviewed by the staff team.

2. Bot timers were re-enabled to issue safety alerts every twelve hours in two different channels where the majority of trust trades or NFT-related questions are asked. Each of these channels has its own set timer that will issue reminders at separate time intervals.

3. Upon entry into the server, users are directed to a list of server rules that must be abided by. There is now a notion in place to encourage members to keep up to date with the #safety-and-support channel for commonly reported scams and precautionary measures to take to ensure account safety. Users will have to “confirm” that they’ve read the guidelines before entering the server. This process returns accountability to the user: if the content wasn’t actually read and members are confirming they did so, similar to a contract; you’re responsible for breaching what was outlined to you.

4. Thanks to a very talented community member, I have a profile banner to signify that this is my only account and under no circumstances will I ever dm anyone. Discord Staff will ONLY communicate through the appropriate channels within the server. This is for everyone’s safety!

5. Many active community members had their usernames added to the server’s whitelist. These usernames were then added to the server’s auto-ban system if a newcomer attempts to impersonate their account details. I will review this process frequently and add any usernames I feel may be replicated.

6. A bot was implemented to auto-ban members that are attempting to join with flagged usernames such as: Support, Help Desk, Moderator, Official, Manager, Immutable, Highrise Staff, OpenSea, IMX Rarity and so forth. We will continue to update this list where we see fit!

7. A Bot setup was completed to detect server raids. Accounts attempting to join the server during these intervals will be forced to complete the verification process.

8. We’ll continue to review server logs frequently and take action where appropriate. We do urge users to continue to report suspicious activity to #server-support❓ for the staff team to review.

⦁ It has come to our attention that recently, some users have been compromised after entering giveaways or verifying their accounts through alternative Discord servers or private messages.

Phishing scams can be disguised to look official, so please avoid joining unofficial servers that ask for information about your Highrise account (eg. giveaways, verifications etc.). Stay safe! 🤍

@everyone Scammers are pretending to be staff or other members of the community and adding users on Discord to scam them for hundreds of dollars. They may use excuses such as requiring some new “verification”, “metamask bridge”, or pretending to assist with purchasing NFTs. Stories that although ridiculous, are successfully scamming 5 users a day in average.

We will never message you outside of this Discord server. If you receive a friend request or message from someone claiming to be me or another official member of the community, it is not legitimate.

If you have interacted with one of these "airdrops", please create a new wallet and transfer your funds and assets to the new wallet as soon as possible! 🏎️

Testnet ETH

Please be on the look out for individuals offering Testnet ETH in exchange for assets. Sepolia for example, is a test currency that holds NO REAL VALUE! If you are required to change networks in order to view another type of "ETH" due to it not being visible in your Metamask wallet, it's a scam!

Do NOT transfer over any assets upon receiving a payment of Test ETH. We encourage those who have any information involving these scam types to open a ticket in #server-support❓ so our team can review the evidence and remove the scammers as quickly as possible. 🚷

If you receive a message urging you to click a link to transfer your Creature to another wallet or website, please know that this is a SCAM! Clicking suspicious links or connecting your wallet to another website can result in a loss of your funds and assets.

You will not be required to move or transfer your NFTs in order to keep them!

🔑 Never share your password

Your password is private — not even official staff will ever ask for it.

Real staff will never DM you first or ask for login details.

💸 Avoid trust trades

If someone says, “Send me your item first” — it’s likely to be a scam.
Use only official, in-game trading systems.

📧 Don’t click suspicious links or emails

Stay away from fake websites or messages asking you to log in or claim rewards.
Always double-check that the URL is official before signing in.

⚠️ Ignore ban or suspension threats

Scammers often claim you’ll be banned unless you act immediately.
Real moderation actions happen only through official channels.

SAFETY ALERT @everyone

There's a scam going around where users pretend Immutable X doesn't work for them and they will try to talk you into connecting to a shady website.
NEVER connect your wallet and avoid going to any websites not listed in #official-links if your goal is to buy, sell or transfer a creature or land!
Also, NEVER give out your seed phrase / private key as these give full-access to your wallet which means all your assets can be stolen!

If you ever run into issues with the websites listed in #official-links the best approach is to contact their support through the contact option(s) they provide or open up a ticket through #server-support❓ and we'll check if the websites are experiencing any known issues for you.

Also, make sure you have direct messages from server members disabled in the Privacy Settings of the server, you can find out how to do this in the safety alerts above this one.

To give a bit more clarity, these scammers will attempt to convince you with fake error messages like the one you can see in the picture attached below. Be wary of any variations of this that they might come up with though.
