Invisible Armor Transmog

Some people just don't like look of armor no matter how fancy it looks (no offense to the artists), right now the best way to deal with this is use transmogs with simpler models (covering less player skin) or using a mod to hide the armor for themselves atleast, you can do the same with stuff in curio slot so it would be nice to have a invisible transmog

Love this idea, could make it one of the secret transmogs where you have to complete a vault with no armor to make it more fun and easy to get

Also accesible early game cause itd not just a random unlock

I was thinking of it just being unlocked right away or at least make it clear to the player that its something they can unlock
Since this is more qol then a fancy armor with some meaning behind it
Keeping it a secret unlock might be to much

What if there was a book like the unique codex for secret transmogs? Could help get the other ones aswell

I love that idea fishy there are so many transmogs beginners have no idea how to get until they get them. I don't think it should tell you exactly what to do but like the soul shard one could say something like "collect as many soulshards as you can in the vault to obtain this transmog" chaining one could be "hit multiple max level chains in a row"

Ye one thing i usually don't like in games is it hiding things with no clue of them even existing

Maybe you could get the codex as a quest reward from crafting the transmog table

i have been wanting something like this since the start

a small problem can be the armor model as an item or when its being displayed on wardrobe
item one could be solved by using an icon instead of model i think but not sure about wardrobe
if there is a way to make use a different model when on wardrobe (just some outline to show its there) or leave it invis for the jokes

Why not just ask for the armour toggle mod? Isn't that simpler than a transmog you'd need to apply every time you swap armour?

People generally do that with any armor they use if they like specific transmogs
There is nothing new

And that will be client side only which you can already do
Unless they can implement it to be toggled for everyone on the server

I think a transmog is just a good way to implement such a thing

can also use runes to make the enchant glint some color and give you an energy shield look

I mainly want it to be server side is cuz i would like it if everyone sees my player skin without armor
So just a local change isnt enough, that is the main point since you can't really see your self anyway outside your main hand

To solve the problem of the invisible item, you could just make it have the inventory texture set to the outline, and make it look like glass

I kind of like the idea of this, at least for my overworld armor set it would be nice to cover less of my skin. At the moment I’m just using the least intrusive transmog for each piece

if that set gets made could a new shield also be made that is a skateboard. gotten by gliding within 5 blocks of the ground for 20 blocks in a vault

Easy solution learn to compile stuff and look at hypixel skyblock no armor thingids and copy paste 😂

I have already been doing transmog with armor covering less skin
Golden crown
Leprechaun chestplate
(Elytra for overworld)
Minitar belt
Create shoes (for shoes there are a few options, they are generally less obstructive)

We kinda already have less obstructive armor
Its just really wanted to have invis armor
Ik it might not fit game design or lore reasons but not everything has to
Its just cosmetics in the end

Also a small problem with this set is its epic/omega transmogs which i cant use for a while

Before you ask that i could use less rare transmog that are equally or even less obstructive, which i could but the problem still stands that there is an armor model there
Since i cant remove that part of it, i want to use something that atleast looks nice
Thus the reason i want the transmog to be invis in the first place
