I can't put my finger on it, but something seems to be lacking with this ship. It does elite tfo's some easier than others.
My crit has gone down for no reason, please help.

did you perhaps switch the dyson tact consoles for the colony consoles?
a few things that come to mind:
-> 4 emergency power abilities. you can only rotate 2 in a build, shared cooldown makes the third and fourth obsolete
-> mix of arrays and DBB in the forward facing slots. might wanna use either DBB or Arrays - if your piloting can handle the narrower arcs, arrays are a loss (except Terran, that one can stay due to sheer power), and if your piloting can't handle them, the DBB won't shoot enough to be better than arrays
for crits, the Precision and Advanced Targeting Systems rep traits are missing
fleet colony deflector would also add extra crits (mycelial lightening does little for a BO build)
No
You're still using 3 emergency power abilities
If I were you id switch around your uni seats like this

Alao you're not using any cannons so
does nothing for you really besides engine procs
Once you get preferential targeting you'll benefit from having
there, but right now you might as well use another mw ability imo
Did an infected run with this 2 minutes worse than before
Can I use pilot and mercial worker on the same ship
Just so I know, which one is the uni seating
The grey seats are universal
Pilot and miracle worker are specialized seating, the Achilles only has miracle worker, on its lt.c uni seat and commander tactical seat
It has no pilot seats
Unless you're asking about your captain active specializations?
Usually its recommended to go intel primary with strategist or temporal as secondary for dps
This game can be to hard at times
it absolutely can.
the "universal" part of a seat only applying to eng/tac/sci and not specs is a result of specs being added later in the game, when the three careers and officer types already existed (and consequently the tac/sci/eng/uni seat types also already existed). (this is not meant to imply it should be obvious, more as a kind of historical context why things are the way they are)
do you own the extender trait for Cannon Rapid Fire or Scatter Volley? if not, it may be a good idea to go back to beams in the forward slots, since you do own Superweapon Ingenuity (the Beam Overload extender trait).
essentially, either go all cannons with a cannon firing mode (i.e. scatter volley) and turrets in aft and DHC in fore - or go all beams with a beam firing mode (like Overload) and Omnis+DBB in the weapon slots. mixing isn't a good idea for now
the idea is that a firing mode (like
) massively enhances your weapons' performance while it's up (like twice the dps). per default, any firing mode is only up 10 seconds every 15 seconds (and shared cooldowns mean you can't alternate between two to circumvent the downtime). a firing mode extender trait increases the duration of a firing mode so it can be up all the time (or only with like a second downtime inbetween actications). so choosing a firing mode for which you have an extender, and weapons to match this firing mode, is generally a good idea
@winged fjord what turrets
just regular turrets. if you're using phaser buffing consoles, phaser turrets would be a good fit
if you're asking for specail unique ones, Trilithium and Gamma Rep come to mind
but it doesn't make much of a difference
@winged fjord rapid or pen
Okay, I have pen Crafted cannons on the front
