  • Budget Torp-Sci build on a theme character (all crew Bolian)
  • mostly items from accountwide reclaim
  • shield tanking
  • Pahvan omni spreads Attack pattern beta nicely
  • power levels in combat: 130 engine, 130 aux (reduced out of combat, with regards to EptA & EptE giving power boosts)
  • Vovin console provides all the clicky cooldown I need here
  • effective and fun, very mobile ship

Open to any comments/suggestions

Are you running any shield hardness buff besides skilltree and endevs? Feels like the guardian console or at least Nanoprobe Field Gen would be a good fit to get a bit more out of the eleos trait

Not more than that, +17% from skilltree, +25% from endevs, 5% from ship mastery. Tactical team also helps with distributing shields. Survival is ok so far.

Guardian console might have a bit of an uptime issue (shield resistance buff lasts only 20s in contrast to the max 40s of the damage boost, as far as I know).
Makes me think of Voth Power Subcore, as a passive option that also gives shield cap (but comes with a damage sacrifice).
Nanoprobe field gen trait is something I will consider too, thank you!

Updated theme build

I enhanced the shield tank side of this build, and also implemented Boimler, IAA and HSL.
Handles solo elite content well.
Can toss in Deuterium, but moves fine as is.

Theme Torp-Sci Dauntless, Shield Tank

The Exotic Particle Focusers had been replaced by 3 Restorative Particle Focusers. Way better uptime of 5 stacks here, with three heal abilities (Science team, EptS, TSS), and triggers right away.

Also, Harmonic Shield Linkage is an excellent shield tank trait, especially with high shield capacity. The summons from Photonic Fleet also count as allies for this trait.
