Meme Torpedo high yield build

This build is still in progress as I need to finesse my piloting and make sure i deal enough damage to solo elites.

The whole idea behind this build is to spam as much high yield torpedoes at once, backed up by torp spread for the down time between High yield reloading.

This build is basically a meme but it does a lot of damage.

ngl, that driveby playstyle is seriously hurting your performance. (that and manual boff activations distracting you from your other piloting)

thats what i mean by finessing my piloting

its caused me a lot of problems in that run

general rough throughline:
-> use a gravwell to group stuff together
-> stand still and shoot (plasma HY torps and the isolytic tears are aoe damage effects, which also damage the other ships that are caught in your gravwell)
flying around evades fewer shots than are caused by the enemies surviving for longer

a boff ability spambar would also allow you to drop PO1 and rely on Boimler+Chronocap+Eleos for your cooldowns
speaking of: use either manual torp spread or manual high yield - they have a shared cooldown

the thing i personally struggled with most when starting to use oscr was that you first have to click "analyze" to have it read the log and calculate the results, and then click "Analysis" above it to actually view the details. Took me longer than i care to admit to find out those words in the top bar are actually clickable 😅

Any reason you’re running the Terran task force torp console? It’s not needed with the Eagle console present

You’d also probably benefit from ETM if you have it

or would ETM only be useful for triggering TS1?

Torp spread, yes, you have room for two triggers

problem with that is I need all my traits

i can drop TS1 but idk what to replace it with

applying FAW1 wouldn't be helpful

Ferrofluid is only used if Covert Warhead isn't available. The two cd reductions don't stack

stealth torp bomber can be replaced, ETM grants significantly more spreads.
you could replace your mine with the Pahvan omni, replacing TS1 and DPB1 with FAW1 and CSV1 for 7 spreads per minute, compared to the 3 spreads per minute you get from STB (provided you're spamming pilot rolls as soon as they are recharged)

i've re-arranged it to include the fek'ihri torment engine

that won't work, this build relies on being cloaked, the Pahvan omni cannot fire under cloak, plus I'm using the 2 piece for bonus damage

remember that STB doesn't count being cloaked while firing under EBC as cloaked enough to grant you stacks

have a test, it does not add stacks while you're fighting. unless they fixed it, my last test was a while ago

I have tested it, you can stack this trait as the cloak is considered "active" plus while you're firing you can trigger off pilot manouvers

i'll setup OSCR and run a parse

are you 100% sure you tested it while firing? bc in your video it does appear that you only gain stacks while rolling or not firing. tho it's extremely hard to make out, as your buff icons are nearly unreadably small when viewing in 1080p

just did a short test in the badlands battlezone: on my end, it's still the same as during my last test: stacks are gained on rolls and during seconds you are cloaked but don't fire - however, seconds that you are firing torps in do not grant stacks

I've checked my parse for this and I don't see it listed

I think the damage is totaled into my torpedoes

do your torps show an extra line for the trait?

I think it was the case since long ago where the extra stuff from Overwhelming Force (both the Shockwave and CPB) does not show up in parses.

If I can be frank, meme or no, this build should be capable of 3 times the DPS easily.

And going by the vid you posted earlier, piloting is one of the the biggest factors here.

There’s a lot of missed opportunities with the lack of AOE/multi-target as well. If you’re only ever focusing on singular enemies, which you do in a majority of that video, it’s not going to get you anywhere, and also why ETM is so valuable, especially if you pair it with something like Pahvan, even on torp builds
