So, I decided to remake my favorite board from the hit WII game Fortune Street aka Boom Street, Bowser's Castle!
-# And yes, I know the board originates from Itadaki Street DS but that game is Japan exclusive and therefore lots of people only recognize the board from Fortune Street.

I deleted the Arcade to make the board work better with OJ.
Here's the logic of how I decided to transform FS Squares into OJ Panels:
Bank -> x2 Heal
Shop/Vacant Plot -> Bonus/Draw/Encounter/Drop
Suit -> Home
Change-of-suit/Venture -> Random
Take-a-break -> x2 Drop
Boon/Boom -> x2 Bonus
Arcade -> Minigame
Roll-on -> Move
Backstreet -> Warp
Stockbroker -> Heal
One-way alley -> Warp & Move
Cannon -> Player Encounter
Lift/Magmalice -> Snow
And here is the board file.
I think I played Fortune Street when I was younger but I didn't understand it at the time.
It's a very fun game once you understand it well.
Although, FS gives way more movement freedom than OJ which means I'll have to get creative if I want to port more FS boards into OJ.
Also, no diagonal movement in OJ.
So... yeah... Remaking other FS boards will be a pain.
I was lucky Bowser's Castle was so easy.
Surprisingly enough, I think Mt. Magmageddon will be the next easiest one to make.
Also like in Globe Trot?
FS Bowser's Castle now with Home Roulette and Battlefield.
