What if instead of slots there was a + sign you could click to add another slot. If there are many slots then it adds < and > buttons to scroll between them?
also, a small preview when hovering over the slots would be nice
and maybe a cursor icon or highlighting a slot red showing that you’ll be overwriting something after clicking save

Hi, reviving this old suggestion because I think that as more costumes and accessories get added to the game, this is going to be needed more and more over time
I think 7 is a bit arbitrary, and kind of low
At least 9-10 would be an upgrade, I don't even have enough slots for each of one costume with Alte, for example
And I bet this happens to a lot of other people with other characters too
