#Chuu hyper should be a battle card, it's practically one. It's ends after her turn.

nooo i want to stack big magnum
that would make the hyper worse if it was a battle card
as she then would have it for only one fight, rather than potentially 3 + encounter tile
It goes to waste cause the opponent doesn't lose stars if she ko's while she has her hyper on.
the hyper is intentionally designed to get her wins faster than most actually offensive units
even if the opponent doesnt lose stars, the huge attack boost and the first KO +2 extra wins is designed to let her attain victory through murder
like, she can get 8 wins in one turn if everyone is clumped together on one space
or if she has 3 hypers and everyone is close enough to her, she could get 12 wins via only 3 fights
which is literally over half the wins needed to win
Ok fair enough
like, Chuu could very well be the best wins focused unit in the game (costs less than Marc's hyper, isnt locked to wins like Star Breaker)
mind you, she is also base +1 attack with 6 hp and neutral defense
she can fight without her hyper if needed
and because she can get star norma, she can play like a typical bully like Tomomo
and just, get the game winning KO to win through stars
Idk i think the effect should at least last til the end of the turn
you mean a chapter duration?
Yup
i feel like she's plenty strong enough as is personally
the hyper is like pretty cheap for how much of a boost it is
it doesn't need to do that much
plus her stats are already really good
only the first kill counts
cota said “everyone” as in killing 3 people which would add up to 8
ah
tbh yeah, i really do not like the concept of a 6 Hp +1/0/-2 character getting an on demand +4/5 Attack on defense
tbh i find it pretty interesting i feel like people are pretty torn on chuu’s strength like i for sure thought she would be like in the upper echelons of characters but some people even want her buffed
it happens everytime
reika moment
i feel like there’s a real chance her ability to get wins is toxic but idk
one of the things that keeps her hyper from being oppressively good at racking up wins is that she isn't guaranteed to catch you with it. if it were a battle type card it's too late, time for your death.
What's funny about the no stars clause on it is that it's almost entirely useless if you aren't committing yourself to wins, it still serves a purpose of softening a healthy target, securing a KO to remove someone's buffs or stall them out, ensuring survival against wild/boss enemies, and dsob.
people are expecting her to make wins as consistent as stars
which should never happen
