Y’all can’t stop the titan two so y’all should take them out so it won’t fluctuate are shot timings so much. right? just to bring some kind of balancing bc it’s actually more cheaters then some of the community thinks. Why should are shot timings fluctuate if there are so many cheaters on the game and no matter the fluctuations it will never matter to cv scripts. But three-pointers score from the logo, and with resistance, and in the fall. Why is player fatigue not taken into account here? One five runs the whole game and it does not affect the characteristics of the player in any way. Dunks are blocked almost always. What is the slowdown when approaching the basket? Is this specially done so that the opponent can run in time and interfere, even if you are in a fast breakaway?

It's not really even just the purchase price that needs to be taken into account here of course - the cost to max a single player in MyCareer is about the same price as the game (or more if you purchase base game), and then every other purchase in the game. It's kind of getting out of hand.

I do work a full job 5 days a week. Nah, you don't start at HoF difficulty.... Start at Pro first and then increase the difficulty inclemently as you earn VC and upgrade your player. 60-70 ovr at Pro, 70-80 at All-Star, 80-90 at Superstar/HoF. I'd say around 10 minutes per quarter is fine but personally I play 12 minute ones to maximize the grind.

Definitely learn a jumpshot (either you copy from one of the content creators out there or make your own) and practice shooting without the meter.

I grind badges at the Team Training Facility as well... this also helps me with scenarios either involving defense or offense (I focus more on shooting badges since those are the hardest to grind and you get to practice your muscle memory on shooting situations)

This year they capped the amount of saves you can have too, which means you can't muck around with new players easily either. Bit of a pain (and franky a weird decision)

Agreed. They definitely tweaked the grind economy but it's still doable... just need to plan ahead.

You get most of the VC now from the endorsements and side quests. As for getting more endorsements, the trick is getting fans which means performing highlight plays like chasedown blocks, steals, fastbreak dunks, alley oops, etc.

Also when getting these deals, maximize the VC first and forget about the VC incentives per game, your goal here is get VC as quickly as possible. So when they offer you like 3000 VC and 2 incentives, get 6,500 VC (which is the max I think) and 1 incentive.

And you risk matching up with players who paid their way to level up quickly and randoms who don't know how to team up well

Plus the shooting timing is hell of a lot different in online games.

Mhmm hackers definitely a turn off... I've begun to report a lot lately for 2k24 PC. It's very easy to spot somebody hacking... their nametag says their a 99 or 90ish player but when you look at their 2kCard, it's lower than the nametag ovr or 60 ovr and sometimes have ridiculous amount of badges. Just screenshot both the nametag and 2kCard. 90% of the time, they get their account banned.

Oh... City stuff... you mean the side quests... they do take place offline-ish though, although you have to be connected, yeah. For PC (Virtual Rivals side quests), it's done inside MyCourt gives a hell of a lot VC plus the takeover abilities and whatnot. Last quest gives you about 25k VC, which tremendously helps the grind. There's also one quest that gives you like 4 extra badge points. Definitely do this Pro difficult or the lowest you can set it.

For the wheel spins, they could definitely make it so it's like a daily gift or something that you can access right off the bat without going into the Shops/Galleria, etc. But then when you get a free prize from one of the brands, atleast you can immediately go into the respective store.

This is how I feel. It makes sense that they are willing to offer the ability to pay instead of having to grind a player. The problem was, if the grind used to take 40 hours, and now it takes 160, that's an egregious jump that happened slowly over time, so people were less likely to notice it, but you still definitely feel it

Which makes people feel like they're forced to spend money, which is what they want as a company obviously, but it feels greedy, especially given that the game already costs 70$

If the game was free, I don't think most people would have a problem with it. And I understand that a lot goes into making the game, and so it makes sense for them to charge for it, but even if Park was F2P, and you had to pay for the rest of the game, it would feel better for those who just wanted to play MyCareer/Park

current gen (on switch at least, only console i have and i do not have money to get anything else) isn’t any better than 23.

it is literally the exact same as 23 just with a costal city and a new UI

no graphical improvement or any gameplay improvement. in fact i’d even say gameplay especially in my career has gotten worse. i’ve had more false foul calls in my <100 hrs of 2k24 than in my like 500 hours of 2k23

in 2k24 everything is ridiculously overpriced. the VC inflation is mad. i’ve been playing for ages and i’ve still barely scraped 85 OVR. i think they wanted a grindy game that felt rewarding to advance in but they did too much w it. meanwhile i was able to grind to 90s OVR within like 3 months in 2k23. For scale i got 2k24 in november of 2023.

you can also try and blame the fact that i’ve played less but the reason why i played less is things like this. it costs like 1500 VC for a singular upgrade and you only earn like 1k per game as a rookie

2k23 kind of had this issue but it didn’t have it as severely. i was able to seriously level up and perfect different skills with just a little time and effort.

the only thing i liked about 2k24 is there were more names that the announcers were willing to say during mycareer games. they called my player less by nicknames and more by his actual government name

but ig that’s also just the downfall of (1) having current gen and (2) having switch

Random comment - I know- but I’ve had multiple super bad issues w 2k this year - and they basically said there’s nothing they can do. The help center is run by employees that have pre-written responses for the most part so if it falls outside of “expected common issues” - well it’s a dead end. The reason I’m sayin this to y’all right now is I saw a guy who made a post under issues- he had his game corrupted and lost all his builds. The community saw this, & tried to help , until eventually the 2kMod said “please contact support” - and made it so no one can comment anymore. - As someone who’s been there- when support can’t fix your issue - no matter how bad it is- they don’t compensate you- or go higher up the ladder. They shut you down w a pre written paragraph that tells you to go to Discord.
All of our issues that are serious and don’t involve actual gameplay opinions will be forever disregarded.

The efficiency of HOF pick dodger alone is crazy low imo, just an increase of just 17% on average.

So when centers got 90+ strength it is basically a 50/50 if they catch you in their screen.

Then go play MyCareer and call a screen and shoot wide open shots.

Hold L1 to call a screen, idk what the button is for PC.

If you're a lock just blitz the screen sprinting into it as thatll give them no time to stick you with pick dodge gold+, if you're less on the lock side going to a big or guard and have it on silver, use a good motion style (Alex caruso) and walk thru the screen and once they hit you sprint at the guard with right stick up
