How he want players to shoot sub 60% in selective zones. Take that code out , cause once you reach 60 -70% percent in a certain zone You could be wide open with a 99 threeball the codes will make you full bar and game will read slight late or early like if you don’t know your shot timing. And it happens in the worst case scenarios. Tell mike that might be the dumbest code implemented since he been doing shooting beside shot timing speed changes which was supposed to combat titian/scripts/zens but it doesn’t. It amazes me that the only console you could potentially cheat on is Xbox lol and most of these next maker and yt context creators/ comp player all play on xbox but once was on ps5 lol.

I started playing nba2k in 2000. I stopped playing about 2016 or so when the game became not fun due to losing games even when I knew I was better than my opponent. Fast forward to 2023, I bought a ps5 and decided to give nba2k24 another try after all these years. I have played for 8 months. nba2k still makes me lose even when I know Im better than my opponent. It makes me miss shots I know I should make, makes me turn over the ball at random, makes me go out of bounds when I shouldn't. Its not fun, you cant get on and enjoy basketball anymore.

There is obviously a manipulation of game play that is causing the game to be unenjoyable. Because of this, Ive stopped playing nba2k again. Its sad because basketball fans just want to play basketball and compete, fairly. It seems nba2k is more about controlling the outcome of games and player performance. Its made the game not fun, and actually making people upset.

@nba2k why at each overall 60 -70 70-80 attributes jump ups plus 10k to upgrade. Example at 60 overall to max out the 94 driving dunk it was only 18k vc. Now i’m a 70 overall to upgrade my driving dunk to 94 it cost 63k vc. Isn’t that a drastic leap in vc wise? What the metrics on this. At what overall will it go back down to 18k or does it only keep increasing they higher the overall?

How do I turn off stupid dunk animations from dunk contests in MyTeam? I'm tired of getting hit by blocks during animations of these dunks. This breaks the whole logic of the game when the player runs away and gets a blockshot while the animation is in progress. Because the opponent manages to reach you and cover you. The usual dunks are enough. Or make sure that dunks are not blocked during such an animation.

And ya overdid the momentum sliders it’s either one team win or loses. that shouldn’t never made it to any online game mode it shouldn’t be in park,rec,pro am or play now no online game mode should have momentum slider theat aren’t visible but effect gameplay drastically. Could be up by 10 but 2k give the other team max momentum now you and your whole team missing open layups missing open jumpshot now the same person who was just missing constested layup and jumpshot all of sudden start making them or they get fouls calls out of nowhere. Or on play now if the other person has the momentum boost they make early jumpshots with anybody.

they sell NBA 2K24 for the old/current gen (PS4) and for the new/current gen (PS5) for the same price (70) and they are different games.
You'd think to access both different versions you'd pay 140, but you actually get both versions of the game, they just don't tell you.

I got the PS4 version (cause I have a PS4, but) mostly cause I prefer it over the PS5 version. Was thinking of getting a PS5 and just let backwards compatibility have my back.
Luckily I checked beforehand, they can't even do that. Your PS4 version just shapeshifts into the PS5 version because you are on the PS5.

Relatively new to 2k (never played any in the past) but been playing tons of it recently. How the frick do I get a contact dunk while posting someone up? I can't do it with MyPlayer against curry in MyCourt or Giannis in 2kU. For context MyPlayer is:

256Lbs 7'3" Center with an 8'1" wingspan
69 standing dunk, 65 driving dunk, 83 strength, 60 vertical
Silver backdown punisher, bronze dropstepper and rise up
I know my stats aren't the best but you would think that these stats alone would be enough to ATLEAST dunk on someone like steph. Am I doing something wrong?

2ktv, getting the right answers from the episodes gives you a neat amount. would be actually better if upgrading your player wasn't insanely costly. I say at least from 60 to 67 overall though

you have challenges. if you can play online there's some for that and for offline play (vr quest rivals)

other than that playing mycareer I guess. 6-8 min quarters at first since you're lower overall

then like 9-10 at most once you're comfortable. and try and play at least in all-star difficulty or above

difference is new gen is more polished, I THINK. has more variety, way larger city, floor setters and badge regression for badges, Eras mode, probably more players since it has crossplay but current/old doesnt, GOAT status thing along with that mycareer storyline, current/old gen carrer has NO storyline, just a few interviews if you get like a career high on a stat or something

The matchmaking system is fcked up also
I played a 20-25min game on random rec the game put me with my 6'6 PF as a C against a 7 footer and they gave me a 60overall teammate againist gold veterans
