Dribbling is better and rhythm shooting is better, for sure. But offense is stupidly overpowered. You can dribble through people with no consequences far too often. Pluck steals don't work at all. The builder is great if you put dozens of hours in to learn all of the little things, but if you don't, you'll be permanently behind. MyTeam is AWFUL this year (if you care). Worst year of MyTeam maybe ever. No-dip shooting is a fun addition but it's basically really strong. Screens are still OP of course.

Well yeah like, I'm not an idiot, so I'm not making bad builds because I spend hours planning and tweaking things in order to ensure that I make the best build possible. But don't you think that's a little messed up that we have to do that? That they make us spend ALL that time trying to just make sure we didn't mess something up. Like I'm not saying I preferred the pie chart days, but there was nothing to mess up there. You just picked what you felt like fit the kind of build you wanted to play, and then that was it. The current system encourages you to spend HOURS in the builder (likely because, the more time you spend in the builder, the less time you spend playing the game, meaning you're missing out on the rewards you get from playing, like VC, season XP, or REP. The less VC and season XP people get, the more likely they are to spend money. Again, it all goes back to the greed)

See the thing is, I rarely find myself using that (partially because I've memorized nearly all of the badges, so I don't need to) because, when I'm planning around cap breakers, I often have to tweak it to be less than what the value is. For example, on one of my builds, I wanted Silver Posterizer, but I ended up going 55 driving dunk and using 5 caps to get to 87. So if I used that feature in the builder, I'd have to lower the driving dunk manually. And sometimes, one thing pulls other things up, so I'd also have to remember to lower those other things

I can agree with that, but at the same thing, I don't think they should be making a game in which you have to spend hours just learning about how to make your builds. Like I agree that I'd rather they reward the players who put the time in, but I don't think those players should have to put that level of time in to begin with

I think they made things overly complex on purpose to get people to make mistakes

Oh I do too, but I think it took a lot less time and effort to perfect a build last year, when you knew all the cap breakers were +1
