It's not balanced. If shooting is as easy as it was in Season 1, then there's no balance to the game. You can say "everyone can do it", but that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't result in a balanced basketball game. If shooting is that easy, all we see is a 3pt contest on either end of the floor, as evidenced by Season 1. And that means that every other playstyle is nerfed in comparison. People who like to shoot middies, slashers, people who are good at layups, people who like to work out of the post, none of those playstyles are viable because 3pt shooting was THAT strong. Now that it's not as strong, it makes the game more balanced.

consoles can 100% detect external devices. The problem is the enforcement.
Id be very confident in saying their ‘anticheat’ is either an ‘in house’ that is really bad due to the game being predominantly console and not caring about the pc side, making scripts your only concern. Or they dont have an anti cheat AT ALL. The issue is when a person gets banned, they can easily get onto another account and start doing the same thing again. The only way microsoft/sony would step in is because your manipulating console hardware.

I mean 2k probably has 100% proof of people cheating. The issue is then bans they can give don’t get you off the game. It just gets you on a different account, able to still cheat. because they don’t have the power to issue console bans. They do have the power to contact Microsoft/sony over these issues. And then it becomes a Sony/microsoft issue on if they will do anything. And if you aren’t trying to literally make a RGH or a jailbroken PlayStation, they won’t console ban you.
