tbf, even if you're nice, basketball is a team game. Unless you make a build SPECIFICALLY for 1s, you will face other people who did make their build for 1s, who will have more attributes because they didn't bother investing anything into pass acc or rebound. Like I don't think I'm NICE nice, but I think I'm pretty good. But all of my builds are made for Rec/5s, because I like playing real basketball, and 5's is the closest thing to real basketball you'll get in 2K. But that said, you can be nice in 5s, but certain concepts won't transfer over into the 1s. If you're a great off ball defender, great at getting steals, great at help defense, great at off ball movement on offense, etc, those things don't matter on the 1s.

THAT SAID, I'm also not one of those guys who goes into every game and dribbles out the shot clock and then chucks it and never passes to my teammates either. Those are indeed the guys who need to hit up the 1s courts, but they're scared to do so because they know they can't play D

The PROBLEM is, Mike Wang said the only way to get a contest is to jump. So even if you're not on a 7'4 cheeser, if you're being guarded by an AI, you can just jab step and shoot in their face
