This may sound like a horrible take, but I said this to a developer I just want to get y’all opinions on it. Do yall think we should go back to a set number of attribute points? Like 2K20 had pie charts but the attribute points really made your builds unique or better. If your build can get 99 3pt it should cost 74points for every build. It shouldn’t be cheaper for some compared to others.
Like let’s say it’s back to 399. Also us getting set physicals is not ideal, but if we can different results for our physicals. So if we burly we can get 5-10 more to our strength but that save limit to our overall speed and agility if we pick an agile one we lose strength, but we get speed and vert. Like it’s two positive and two negatives with one neutral for each one.

What's with 2k players thinking 5 out is the golden standard for offense in 5v5
5 out is generally the easiest way to play with randoms. If everyone is able to space the floor, it helps the offense a ton. I would argue that it should be the default for every team with randoms, and the only time it's worth playing otherwise is if you have a group of teammates who know what build everyone has and what they're capable of

For me, as the PG in that situation, I like to try to beat my man off the dribble and get to the rim. I've got 99 pass acc on my PG, so I will typically drive it in, and wait for someone's man to come help, and then I'll kick it out to them. If they don't help, I can typically get a bucket, whether it's a layup or dunk, or just a middy via something like the Kyrie Spin Jumper
Worst case scenerio, they don't help, and you can just keep dribbling under the rim and let the offense rotate, and then find the open man from there, ala Steve Nash in the 2000s
Also, 5 out doesn't have to mean no off ball movement. The wing player can set a screen off ball for the corner man, who can come up and get an open 3. And after the wing player sets the screen, he can roll to the basket
That's expecting a ton from randoms who barely know to do a simple pick off ball, but it could work much better if you can communicate with your teammates

I will often sit in the corner for 3-5 seconds depending on what's happening, in case someone will draw my man in on a drive or something, but I won't be totally still, I'll be moving a bit in the corner, or after those 3-5 seconds, I'll try to rotate via either a cut to the other corner, or up to the wing

All they care about is trying to get their clips, or trying to get their stats as high as possible. I'd rather have a game where I go 5/5/5/2/1 with 2/3 shooting and good defense, where we win, than have a game with 40+ points and a loss

Depends a lot on the build though, I'm on my 8th build right now and I have at least one at every position. Pretty much the only thing I don't have is a backend. Got a PG with 99 pass acc, a SG with 96 DD and 92 speed, a SG Lock, a Kobe SG with 99 midrange, a Tatum SF, a Paolo/KD hybrid SF, a KG PF, and a Popping 7'1 C

Yeah no actual defense is pretty easy unless you're going up against a real demon, or unless you're getting screened by a massive Center and your team won't hedge the screen

Depends on how you play. If you're the Center, you don't need ball handling, but if you want to be able to in a pinch you could consider going at least 70, maybe 80 max

Try learning rhythm shooting. It may take some time to get used to, but it's significantly better for shooting than button shooting in many cases. Also ensure the meter is turned off, the meter this year kinda sucks and you get a boost for having it off anyways. If you learn your shot animation, it'll make things a lot easier
