I think I've seen worse builds, but that you don't need Bronze Rise Up, and those points could be better used on more defense (85 perim, 74 interior in case you get moved down to the 4). You would also benefit from having 81 ball handle, but that's less of an issue.
and yeah only 60 rebound is kind of awful, especially because again, you could get moved down to the 4. I would at least try to get Silver Rebound Chaser at 80

So the Learn2K "tutorial" this year is actually decent, compared to previous years. Still not going to teach you everything you need to know, but I think it's worth doing to understand at least a majority of the options. This year, there are a lot of things you're going to need to learn from people online and practice incoporating it into your game (quickstopping, dexing, etc). Some of these can be practiced in MyCareer, others just in your MyCourt, and other things you kinda have to practice in real games versus people, just because of how people act compared to how the AI acts.

I think that everyone should learn at least something basic they can use to get open, whether that's getting really good at knowing when to dex and when to cut off ball, or getting good at a certain dribble combo that can create an open shot, or getting good at pick and roll/pop depending on the situation and where your defender is. But again, a lot of those things rely on real person defenders, and understanding how the average person defends (and being able to do things differently when against a better defender)

Also, if you're gonna go for that high layup, I'd at least get 75 strength for Gold Physical Finisher. I'm assuming you're using +5 cap breakers on 3pt, so here's a way it could look slightly different.

Depends on the time of day. Sometimes, I get in games instantly, other times I wait for as long as 30 minutes for a game
Starting 5's is basically "MyCareer" but against someone else. It's a 5v5 NBA game, but your player replaces someone in the starting lineup for a team. You pick your team, the other guy picks his team, you still only control your character though, like in MyCareer. So if, say, you have a Center, and you choose the Lakers, the starting lineup would be (if healthy), Luka, Austin Reeves, Rui, Lebron, and your MyPlayer. It's similar in length to Rec games, but you don't need to rely on teammates. However, people who know how to exploit the AI can really mess you up

Genuinely I have 4 irls who play the game. One is actually good, MVP level when he plays, but he's one of the two who doesn't play the game anymore this year. The other one is good enough that he'll do well sometimes, but he has a bit of an ego and sometimes doesn't pass the ball enough because he knows he's a capable scorer, but this causes him to sometimes have games where his shot isn't falling, and he has a poor game because he won't play through the team enough. The other two are the only ones who actually play, one of them is genuinely not good at any video game, just plays for fun, but I expect nothing from them. But the last guy is the type of guy to do stupid stuff like trying to go up on 2 guys thinking he'll get a dunk, but then complain that the game is bad when he refuses to actually learn how to use dunk meter. Won't learn how to shoot without meter, shoot with rhythm, learn how to dribble, learn post moves outside of backdown and dropstep, etc.
I've had to play on specific builds with them and leave my other builds in MVP to avoid falling down to bronze plate with them

Played on Steam this entire year, also played on 23. Cheating was way worse on 23. It's not nonexistant, but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. I've come across I think 8 cheaters in around 800 hours, and 5 of those were during the first month, and only 2 of them have been in the Rec, which is the main game mode I play, the others were all in the park

smart, I think this year, the game is as good as it's ever been for offline play. The different ways you can create shots, dribbling with left and right stick together, rhythm shooting, all kinds of amazing changes. But the biggest problems with playing the game are playing with stupid people, dealing with the bad servers, and the egregious cost in either VC cost or time cost of upgrading a MyPlayer to 99 and getting all your badges maxed

My idea of it wouldn’t punish missing shots or anything… that’s a part of basketball.
This:
“PLAYER REPUTATION SYSTEM”
There needs to be a system that rates your performances by how many violations you get, D teammate grades etc. and factor that into the type of players you get matched with. If you play the right way and get good teammate grades you should be matched with people who do as well.
If you are a bad teammate and finish with bad grades, quit games, get consecutive violations you should be punished by playing only with other players with bad reputations. You shouldn't be able to play with other good teammates until you improve.
Many games have this kind of system.
It NEEDS to be in 2K, badly.
Much rather that than the flawed system now. Punishing people for quitting a game they pay money for. Or banning them because the server kick them offline.

don't even matter after you're vet 2 anyways because no shot I'm spending the extra 1500 hours to get to Legend
earlier in the year I was like "yeah I'll hit Legend this year" but it's just so draining if you don't have consistent guys you can play with as teammates
and pretty much all my friends got tired of the game, the one irl I have who still plays isn't that great anyways, so I just play for fun with him
