It's not 1500 diff layup types it's the same layup types but for 100 people. Everyone has a strait X button layup and a scoop, a floater, a hop, a euro, a spin. Now maybe multiple variations of some animations so every floater doesn't look the same maybe some lefty some right etc for tons and tons of players you can get to 1500 easy. They don't bring in players for Mo Cap anymore they just put the real nba game footage into the pro play system and animations come out. You can easily knock out thousands with just AI
