I feel like the only solution at this point to fix it, because it's a genuine issue that needs to be addressed if this game ever wants to be considered a "competitive game". Competitive games don't have inconsistencies like that game to game.
They should either
A) remove crossplay, since that's the core cause of the latency. They're clearly incapable of fixing it. It's season 3 with no signs of getting better.
B) get rid of visual cue based shooting and go back to "muscle memory" style - every jumper has the same animation and speed every time you shoot it.
C) get rid of pure green windows and go back to the bigger RNG green windows.
Like if I go play warzone, something many others would consider a "competitive game" my latency is ALWAYS 20MS-25MS every game.
Meanwhile 2k one game it could be 60ms, the next 130ms, etc. that alone makes this game non competitive imo since you're always at the mercy of the servers.

Wtf 2k keeps giving us no real control over our defense??? If you play hands up defense, your player does what ever he wants to do and you have no control over it, you either jump for no reason, run forward for no reason, or run in the wrong direction even though you arent doing any of that. Thats why zens are growing, we cant even defend anyone and have control over out build, so they just keep getting open

Shooting is the hardest this year its ever been, so unless you're nice like that or can learn a jumpshot, I highly recommend 82+ 3PT on any build.
