Could it be possible to bring the myCareer practice gym over to myNBA? I think it'll make running scrimmages to feel all more realistic alongside the entire mode. A more straightforward thought is to simply allow us to scrimmage our selected myNBA team court. It's the little things like this that assist with developing the climate for this gaming mode. This helps lead a vivid myNBA experience and more satisfaction with its MyGM/MyLeague users. The elements you added to myNBA in 22 assisted with the GM experience but it’s the little things that can go overlooked which can factor into the large changes. I'm hoping one day that we’ll get to see practice drills be in myNBA/myLeague mode. It’ll be an awesome way to grow our players development in practice and out.

There are a few things they should fix in myL especially the online version. The offseason online is AWFUL! You can't even look at your draft boards or anything once drafting starts. AI will draft 3 players at the same position in one draft. The FA period is wack too. AI just signs ppl, and doesn't even go for fits or anything like that.

It seems like in MyNba during free agency the only offers that get declined are the user offers. I assume it's so we can't get a bunch of players for cheap. It looks like the AI is still able to do it though as their offers stay and ours disappear between days.

NBA 2K23 Easy Fixes (Wishlist)
Off rip, easily fixable things (I am talking patchable in 2K22), Allow Custom Rosters in Playoff Mode (As well as treating it like MyNBA where we can rebrand teams and stuff, as well as custom rules).

Bring back Start Today in MyNBA Please!!

Uniforms: Keep old Nike Uniforms in the game (whether it's former alternates or former Home/Away Jersey's), add 2016 Cavs Uniforms (Blue Cavs and Black Sleeve), Fix 2013 Away Black Miami Heat Jersey (Should Say 'Miami' the way the 2022 uniform does rather than saying 'Heat'), Fix 2011 Away Mavericks Uniform from being the alternate (and vice versa), add 2019 Raptors 'North' Uniforms (You know the one the won the Championship in).

Roster: 2014 Spurs' Tiago Splitter should wear #22 (not 42), '14 Kawhi Leonard shouldn't be a 92 Overall (Probably closer to the 82-85 Range as he was in 2K14).
Change Chris Bosh's Jump shot base to 'Set Shot 9' or something more realistic.
Fix All Time players from the 50-70s who are missing their rebounding statistics for multiple years of their career (Career Stats Page).
1997 Alonzo Mourning shouldn't be wearing Kobe's.

Shoes: In the default roster players need shoes, or at minimum just make the 2K generics look like a real shoe in rosters.

Courts to Fix: 2014 Indiana Pacers, 2013 Memphis Grizzlies, and 2012 Oklahoma City Thunder, as currently the floors are the same as their 2022 team's (which is of course inaccurate).

Blacktop: Put players in their uniforms. Add a new court, with a sunny setting to showoff the lighting.

Historic Coaches: Put in Historic Coaches and make the teams play like they did in that era.

Allow us to add headbands to anyone.

2K24 Wishes:
Bring back Situation/Scenario mode, with uploadable/downloadable scenarios made with Custom Rosters from the community (even allow for 1 or 2 players in-game stats to be edited, say I want the challenge to be to recreate the 27 Point comeback in the 2017 playoffs vs Indiana, and I have to score like 40 with LeBron, but you start in the second half and LeBron has like 12 points.

MyNBA: Allow us to start in any year we want.

I gotta completely disagree with this. There's still the ability to start in the present day and the "what ifs" feel pretty grounded to me. I, for one, am super excited to pick up my Wolves in 1991 and see if I can bring them a title (hopefully with KG)

I mostly play MyTeam. The "what ifs" there are way dumber and more non-sensical. This seems very grounded and feels a bit like a "love letter" to the game's past. It'll be really fun trying to get some traction against Jordan's Bulls and then see if we can't break through against Kobe's Lakers with KG and the rest of our core

Always focusing on the wrong things that we never ask for.. WHY can’t we get an actual structure first before we expand the mode.. Modern (the core mode) is literally BROKEN.. MyNBA Online has soooooo many problems that are always tweeted about by the community.. This mode has so much potential as NBA fans are addicted to NBA transactions that with some attention to detail this mode can be super REALISTIC and that would make it insanely fun to play..

did a long season in MyNBA Online in NBA 2K22 with 30 Players so every team was taken.. Many of the Teams are excited for the Draft to potentially get guys like Chet and Paolo BUT NO

The draft freezes on the #1 PICK and stops working so the league had to be scrapped.. that is the stuff we as a community are talking about!!!

These same bugs are probably still be in NBA 2K23 like always how these bugs stay in the games year after year with no fixes

I’m not a coder nor did I go to school to develop games but I would hope that it would be as simple as is to add it the same way it is inside of MyCareer! Always felt like it was either a issue or that’s their way of making you go to that mode! Never have, never will! I do practice my playbook and playing inside of your OWN home stadium with game jerseys on, is an eye sore! The practice jersey are there, on point so why not give us an AUTHENTIC practice gym, weight room, etc etc so that we build our teams with trainers instead of clicking boxes! It’s in park ( my city ) another mode I haven’t touched since 2002!

If you’re trying to make a game feel like a real NBA experience these sort of features need to be place in the game not solely just one game mode. Nothing feel real about running scrimmages on some random blue and red practice gym court. I wouldn’t even mad if y’all just change gym to the selected team colors. Just add in a logo or something. It’s the little things that help grow the experience of the game. Also practicing plays in your team jersey instead of your practice jerseys confuses me. I don’t get why the dots are not being connected here. These are small simple changes that are already in the game. Why can’t they be brought over to myNBA.

That depends on what you mean by "concerns" and "addressed" because that ends up being interpreted in a lot of different ways by people.

Current things (online myNBA) that are in game but don’t work (some have not worked for over 5 years) :

• Cannot resign players mid season to extensions; player status shows “will re-sign but user cannot move from past that point

• Sending players to G League affiliate does not work; players revert back to regular nba team after leaving menu and coming back

• Player mentorship does not work; badges are never earned (tested with multiple players over multiple seasons)

• Timer freezes randomly during offseason on Free Agent days and frequently freezes during rookie draft

• Daily/weekly training does not work; player attributes never change/improve

• Injuries rarely happen even when slider is on 100

• There is no progressive fatigue ( injuries and seasonal fatigue would add another element of decision making that would deepen the leagues)

Did i miss anything? I’m a big online league guy and 2K has so much potential if it could get its baseline offerings right. Doesn’t make sense that these features have been in the game for years and simply don’t work

You didn't quite answer what I was talking about, but some of your list of issues should go to 2K Support in separate tickets so they're reported to the developers. Some of them would probably be seen as "design" or "feedback", in which case they should be discussed in places like this where those on the NBA 2K team looking for player reactions can find and note them down for later review.

Well i assume that 2K devs test every aspect of their game including the above mentioned features. These features have been in the game for years and the same bugs cause them not to work every year. So when i say they haven’t been addressed that’s what I mean. I’m just one guy they are a whole company if the same things are broken year after year they are being ignored. Not everything can be tested to the extent that a player would, unfortunately. There's neither enough time or resources to come up with and test every possible instance where the game could break, games are simply too large and complicated nowadays. They do what they can, then the game goes out to millions who play the game very differently naturally. It's very possible that you may be seeing something that hasn't appeared in the testers' work on the mode. Additionally, just because an issue is found doesn't mean it can be fixed (or "addressed" in your meaning, it seems) or that it's being ignored.

That’s an excuse to me. 2Ksports is a billion dollar company. It’s hard to believe that a KEY aspect of real life nba (resigning mid season) can be missed for so many years. It’s also hard to believe that they have the time and resources to add new features like eras but can’t fix what’s already broken or even admit that things are broken and dedicate a team to finding them? That sounds like the time and resources aren’t being properly dedicated. We want this mode to work

Definitely an excuse! I seen Mike Wang out with a female one night ( not gonna say but I was OT ) and I was with some goons too! They play 2K too, there kids do as well! Had I just said “ bro, look at Mike Wang “ it would’ve been over! 🙏 I diverted all attention some where else and kept pushin! Whole time, I calculated the thousands of dollars I’ve spent shoving out money to my kids for 2K coins! But Zekoage says they don’t get a chance to fix everything but they do make time to edit and approve these goofy YouTube videos but you can’t fix something in the code that’s naturally already in…. It may sound like an excuse to you (partially because it's not what you want to hear, I imagine), but it's something that happens in testing. Just because the company may have money doesn't mean the game's development doesn't have a budget and a set amount of time to get things to a certain point. The people in charge of the teams have to decide things based on many factors, and one of those is going to be whether they don't work on a new mode or spend time going into the code to fix and test an issue in an existing mode. Which is going to get more people playing the game?

If you haven't sent in a ticket, there's that possibility that those in the community you speak of also haven't sent in a ticket. I also just checked the official forums and unless it's mentioned in a thread that doesn't have a title about the issue, there are not that many posts about the re-signing that I could see.

I dunno man. I come from that MyTeam side normally. I don't really feel that they're just "taking my money and running." I get that some of these things are frustrating. I used to be a big Play Now Online guy. It's frustrating that that mode has been virtually untouched for four or so years now. BUT at the same time, commitment to improvement is there. The Eras concept, which is very ambitious, is proof positive of that. Be patient, keep an eye on those bugs, let them be known here and on the various forums they look at (Reddit, OS, etc) and I have little doubt that they'll find a solution.

I think it's a good idea. From a realism perspective I would expect being able to practice plays and motion and for the practice to be on per team courts. Which once you include jerseys, rooms, floor and lighting is a bit more than I think just moving it from another mode would be.

I even made the 83 roster in 2K and 02 roster and they were most of the time the only rosters I really used. Tbf, I just like to sim. I made a GOAT LeBron and GOAT Jordan which was giving them the highest tier badge they have, highest attributes they have on what I considered their best tendencies after simulation or cpu v cpu games. Okay, so here's my soap box, if you will. I see a lot of that here. I don't think that's a very healthy way of looking at it. And I don't believe it's true. The Eras concept, while maybe not the fixes you're looking for, very much shows their commitment to you, the MyNBA player. It shows that they're trying to come up with an innovative experience for you guys (and imo, it's the most innovative thing I think I've ever seen in a franchise mode in my life). Yes, the bugs and stuff are frustrating, but you're also not being ignored. Chances are that those fixes are just more complex than you may realize, unfortunately.

I seen that was bad in 2k22 and I played a bit when it came to PS+ and it seemed to be true but that’s the only one I’ve played where the stats were bad/overblown. 2k22 was the first one I’ve played on next gen and first since 2k20 though so maybe I’ve just been missing it, hopefully it’s fixed this year though. In the Kobe Era there will probably be more complete rosters than the older ones, but with community sharing and all that it shouldn’t be that big a deal. Shouldn’t take long for the community to get players that weren’t able to be licensed into the game seeing as the big names and starting lineups and I imagine a good enough amount of role /bench players will probably already be complete for the most part.

It really isn’t. You can download the teams and stadiums sure but it’s not nearly as fleshed out as Eras is supposed to be. Commentary, visual overlay, actual years, play style, evolution of rules/shorts/uniforms, etc..

Been seeing people say that rp% won’t be in it. Is it just for online? Hoping it’s still in offline, I strictly play MyNBA, don’t care about the online competitive aspect and timing shots, I play for simulating the NBA, if it’s gone for offline that’s a huge bummer.

I’ve been playing 22 (PS5) and the shot timing just seems broken/not for me which is weird because in all the previous 2k’s I’ve played it’s never really been an issue (2k10-20), so I figured I’d try rp% and it’s a game changer for the way I play (offline).

One workaround I sort of got is transferring the games to my external hard drive which takes like 20 minutes to clear up space. It just stores the games for you and once you are ready to play it just transfers the game back

It will lower the overall rating, because the way it weights specific attributes for PGs and Cs is vastly different. The individual ratings themselves will not be altered. This is perhaps something that could/should be implemented, I think. MLB the Show has this, where playing guys out of position or even in secondary positions cuts down their fielding attributes.

I’m guessing this is completely gone… 21 next gen had full training features for mynba. 22 next gen had the most basic training. Mentors and setting a preset where still there but there used to be a whole additional area where you could make training custom. It allowed you to tweak everything, at the percent level. Hoping it’s in 23 but doubt it. Bit of a bummer they took it out. Anyone see anything about it coming back?

I'm not sure. I'm hoping Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller will be in the game but honestly I'm not sanguine, at least not about Barkley. '84 will be the first draft class you'll be able to play with, and they explicitly mention Jordan and Olajuwon, but not Barkley, who went 5th overall.

If Barkley and Reggie aren't in the game, I have every intention of downloading community draft classes just for those two players.

Fellow myNBA players, can you hear me out on one suggestion for the game and see if we can get this implemented? For all player portraits where the jersey is not the same as the team they are currently on, make an auto-generated player portrait instead (similar to the rookies). This way, if LeBron is on the Lakers it shows his real picture, but if he's on the Cavs it shows an auto-generated portrait instead. I have major OCD and this would be a huge quality of gameplay fix for me.

Main issues I have with the 1980s era:

1. summer league and 2K hoops summit didn’t exist in the 1980s
2. The NBA Draft used to have more than two rounds until 1989.
3. Can the draftees at least be in the draft class? I’m certain I drafted an autogenerated player in 1985, because Andre Garrett doesn’t seem to exist.
4. The first two years of the 80s era, the commissioner wasn’t David Stern but Larry O’Brien.

I noticed in the draft classes as well the 1984 class Has a "Charles Barkley" but he's a white guy 6'7" 190 Lbs from Richmond when Charles is 6'6" 252 lbs from Auburn. 1. Lag & server issues

• The gameplay experience is significantly worse in the online MyLeague mode than the MyTeam & MyCareer modes due to lag & server issues. We have been experiencing notably worse lags in online MyLeague games versus MyTeam or MyCareer games. In addition, we were not able to log into our online MyLeague at all in August. Please keep the servers for MyLeague in check if they are being maintained differently.

2. [Bug] MyLeague games not being recorded

• This is a very critical bug that has been lasting since 2K22. Playing through your favorite players and making them have good stats is a crucial part of player growth in MyLeague. It is extremely discouraging to see your efforts and time getting wasted because of the fact that MyLeague is unable to save the games played by players most of the time. Please refer to the screenshot that shows the over 50 unsaved games being reported in our league alone since the launch.

3. [Bug] Playbook is not working in online MyLeague games

• Playing through playbook has been an essential part of the gameplay in the 2K series. We found that this feature is not being applied properly in online MyLeague games while it is working fine in Play Now and offline MyNBA games. We are disappointed that it is not possible to play through playbook by pressing the left keypad of controller as intended.

4. [Bug] A 3-team trade is not possible in online MyLeague games

• This feature is not available in the online MyNBA mode while it is available in the offline mode.

5. [Bug] Draft edit issue

• In NBA 2K22 and 2K23 for PS4, you can easily save a player's DNA to import in the user-customized draft as evident in this screenshot. On the other hand, in NBA 2K23 for PS5, you cannot find the saved DNAs in the player creation menu. And you can copy the current draftees only to the current draft.

6. [Bug] Switching to a different player in the player edit menu

• You added this new awesome feature of switching to a different player by pressing L2/R2 without leaving the player edit menu in 2K23. We would like to know why this has been removed since the latest patch.

7. [Idea] User-friendly DNA copy feature

• It would be more efficient if you can implement a feature for selecting players that users would like to save the DNAs from without having to go through each and every player's edit menu.

8. [Idea] Removing computer-generated players from the historic draft classes

• If computer-generated players in the historic draft classes can be removed, it would be more realistic and more fun to play with the historic draft classes.

man they never care about us who play this mode. On top of all you said, there's no mentorship, you have to move people on the roster like 3 times when doing call ups, the draft is a mess as you can't view your draft board nor back out, the offseason will start with no one being online, no counter offers by AI, FA signings make no sense neither does drafting players. I could go on and on about how broken this mode is when it comes to online.

Please can you make this mode feel more authentic by having us run scrimmages on our selected NBA home court or have Team themed practice gyms. How is that we can run plays and freestyle on our team courts but we can't run scrimmages. Yes, of course myCareer has this already implemented but myNBA doesn't. Please can you get rid of this scrimmage gym it doesn't even go with my team colors at all along it doesn't feel authentic to the myNBA mode.

I hear there's big problems with the G League, though. One guy had a 53-year-old Luc Longley playing at like a 48 overall in the G League in 2022.

Travis Best still in the G League at age 50.

So G League needs some work or patching or something.

SOS - I looked through the discord a bit but didn’t see anything specific, but in mynba eras how do you turn on interactions and meetings with players and staff? Some of the GM Skills I can get to work after messing with the startup settings are “Facilities” and “trade finder” among a few others. But anything that has to do with meetings, such as “smooth talker” or “chit chat” just show +1 to player attributes like offensive rebound.

If you mean MyNBA Eras, it's not available in the PC version. PC version is "last-gen". The current-gen versions are the only ones that have the MyNBA Eras mode. PS5 and XBox Series.
