I bought also a lot of golds, you can sell them later for just the fee loss of 10% they very stable in price if you always buy the lowest golds that you don't own yet.

Once you get 20-30 games in and move on to emeralds you can sell all your golds sellable and start buying Emeralds and do the same

imo worth it if you need players, loose like 50-100 MT per player which is not much imo
