Block cap breakers are tied to interior defense, vert, defensive rebound, and steal

Driving dunk caps are linked to standing dunk, layup, close shot, str, ball handle, vert,

What will always go up first is vert, close shot, and layup when it comes to driving dunk

On block it’s int and defense that comes up first and second respectively

So what that’s gonna tell you just from the builder alone is to keep some of those stats lower so you can glitch them out how you want to, and keep others up

And since you’re messing around with 15+ cap breakers, it’s a lot easier to do those things

But here’s the thing-

If I’m focusing all on 1 category that ISNT playmaking then I’ll get more bang for my buck

rec is less valid because it’s what randoms play. and it’s randoms who make the game mode unbearable. you either squad up and play a 5 man that plays zone against you because they’re not good enough for pro am or you solo queue and get the worst team mates on earth. including purple and red plates.

3s is easy, force the 2.
The last time 2s was decent was when the possession is switched every play. 2s is just cheese and has no iq. iso and swing it. or a center holds ball, blocks you and the pg runs around. it’s why the better players are at 3s or pro am 5s

tl;dr the whole game sucks honestly but yeah, blitzing the screen is the way to beat the screen cheese for sure.

But I would argue that anyone who plays Rec at least has tried 3s at one point or another and got frustrated with the gameplay loop. The fact that you basically can't take 2s if you want to win in 3s is so annoying because it completely removes entire playstyles from the game. But yeah I agree, 2s is and will always be a cheesefest until they bring back switching the posession after a bucket.

You’re right about 3s. Any decent team will always give up the 2. (Myself included lol) and just keep putting up 3s. It’s dumb, and broken but what other option you got. That’s why I prefer 5s.

But pro am not every decent park player can play 5s due to iq.
And again with Rec, you can’t solo queue for rep cause it’s vile and if you squad up you play against a 5 man running 2 lockdowns up top when you’re chilling for rep. Bare in mind we’re entering May😂

Yeah that's my problem. I mostly play Rec only because it's my only option. Most of the people I play with have stopped playing the game at this point, and I don't wanna squad up for the reasons you mentioned. Especially if we only have 4, because then you're stuck with an AI who gets abused all game. So I'm forced to play either Random Rec or Starting 5s. And Starting 5s, everyone just picks the Spurs to PNR/shoot behind the screen, or picks the Thunder for similar gameplay.
