If you have enough playmaking to put the ball on the floor, yes on 87 dd. Otherwise if you're just slipping off picks or doing off ball cuts, 73 or 75 should be plenty. Especially if you pair with a high standing dunk.

yeah that's true, but if you make a build at SF, you have to be prepared for the fact that you could end up at PF. I have 3 SFs, two with 85 DReb and the other one is the only one I have with 60. Realistically, I probably should've made that one at SG, but I didn't want that one to ever end up at PG, and I make it work between takeover and badge max+1s/2s that unless I'm up against a crazy 6'11+ Center that got moved to PF, I can usually compete well enough on the boards

But even at SG or PG, it's good to be able to rebound. I recently finished upgrading my Russ build and I'm regularly getting 6+ rebounds in the Rec, and I only have 80 rebound and Silver Rebound Chaser at 6'4. I do have a high vert (85) which helps, but still. One I get my Max+2 Tier 2, I'll be using that to get to HoF Rebound Chaser

Yeah that's frustrating too. I wish 2K would let you choose whether or not you want secondary or even tertiary positions, and which one(s). Like I have a SG that can easily play anything from PG to SF. But on the build mentioned above that's at SF with only 60 rebound, I'd rather only every play SG/SF.

5 on perim to go from 80-92, 4 on steal to go from 65-85, 4 on DD to go from 79-90, shooting spec to get to 87 mid range for badges then I also have the +1 and +2 from it

Can use 1 cap breaker on vert to unlock the contact dunks

And then 1 cap breaker on strength to get 85 if that’s worth anything

That looks good for sure. Personally I'd drop the interior D to 74, drop the driving dunk (to still get 89, idk what you get at 90), and then get 40 Standing Dunk and maybe higher free throw. You could also consider lowering the wingspan by 1 if you wanted to be able to get to 89 midrange for Gold Set Shot Specialist, assuming that doesn't mess with too much else in the build. But I do like it overall

Sure, it's up to you, just something I'd personally look at because then you could Max+2 it to Legend Set Shot, if you wanted it. Not necessary for sure but if you're using shooting spec caps there I'd personally wanna be able to get it. It would also unlock the jumpshot I like to use with Ray Allen base, so again that's just a personal preference thing, but if you don't think you need it, you can definitely get away without it

I still add dunking to my builds. And honestly, layup with physical finisher is underrated this year. But 99 dunk isn't worth it. The thing is, shooting is really easy this year too. So most of my builds are more well rounded. For example, my next build is my Jayson Tatum build. I'll have 90 driving layup, 89 driving dunk, 91 midrange, and 85 3pt, after all of my cap breakers.
