Like here's the Jayson Tatum Pro Tuned Build (via 2KLabs). It's not bad by any means, and gets a lot of important breakpoints that are necessary to replicate Tatum's game. I can't see the cap breaker screen for it, but I imagine there is a way to fix some of the stats that may be a little low for him (such as the ball handle going to 86, the midrange going up, or the block going up. But if you compare it to the one I've labbed up, with all of it's cap breakers in mind, mine gets everything that this one gets and more

Yeah I mean I think there's like, 5 levels to builds. Most of the 2K Pro-Tuned builds fit in between levels 2-3, and a good portion of the Community Builds fit between levels 3-4.

• level 1: Complete garbage. Builds with absolutely no regard for animation or badge requirements that don't have the necessary ratings to play the position/role they're made for (eg: Centers with low rebound, point guards with low pass acc or ball handle, etc)
• level 2: They tried. Builds where an effort was made to make the build in order to fulfill a certain role. Maybe it could've been made better, but they made the build well enough to get certain attribute points for animations or badges. It's playable, but definitely could be refined for more cap breakers or whatever
• level 3: Genuinely decent builds. They have all of the important attribute points for their role/position, they can get most of the animations that they need, they're built around having some cap breakers, and can be effective on the court. They may not be hyper optimized, but they're very playable builds and people can get crazy clips or statlines from them.
• level 4: Well made builds. These builds are built around having a good amount of cap breakers, get all of the animations and badges you need, and can be used at all levels of play, from casual players to Pro-Am teams. They may have some specific attribute levels for certain things that not everyone thinks about.
• level 5: Near perfect builds. These builds are either hyper specific to one role or a certain person's playstyle (backend, lock, and are often able to be solid at doing almost everything on the court. They are planned around having most of the attainable cap breakers, and their attributes are placed perfectly to squeeze as much as possible out of the builder. To give an example of a youtube build that I would consider in this Level 5 tier, I'd look at Joe Knows's recent center build (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZL1XZLpejc&t=482s).

Yeah, it's really easy if you play the game a lot. I have no issue reaching level 40, I usually hit it within the first week or two. But for people who don't buy the pass, or don't play the game as often, it's another thing that might make them consider spending the extra 10-20$ at the end of the season to skip levels and get level 40

Depends on how quick you are with it. For me, I'm usually doing it kinda slowly (doing it before my buddies get on, or after they get off, while playing Rec in between), so it usually takes me 2 days to do it. I could get it done within a few hours (3-4?) if I just sat down and grinded it. The Out Of Bounds is about an hour, the first season + the Passion Project is about 2 hours ish, and then the last season is fairly quick because you're just hanging on the rim
