#Tooth extraction

It wasn’t that painful tbh because of the local anaesthesia, just uncomfortable, you’ll just feel a lot of pressure
Or at least that was the case for me
Hey
What about during the recovery period?
I had 4 extractions when I was 15
to make space for other teeth

all my meals were ice cream for 2 days
orthodontic treatments entail pain
I got mine done 2 days back
And nothing
No pain no swelling
I'm eating the ice cream we bought so it doesn't go for a waste
My friend recently had one
4 injections for anaesthesia and they still missed it
He was feeling some pain during the extraction even after anaesthesia was administered
His gums and mouth from that tooth's side swole up like hell
He wasn't allowed to eat anything too hot and spicy or cold and hard, only soft and room temp food.
Took 5-7 days for the swelling and pain to go away.
He survived on ice cream, bread/jam and curd rice.
and milk, bananas
No way
It's true
Damn but cold is recommended by doctors
Not too cold
He barely ate the whole week
How come his recovery was so... painful
Bro I don't know
there was a nerve directly under his extracted tooth
I'm bored waiting for the pain to hit
Trust me, you don't want that
Oh dam
He felt like he can never eat again 😭
What's worse, he needs to get another extraction done, probably next week
I know but it's weirding me out
Really is weird
They said that the swelling was part of the process
It means its healing
Now I'm doubting that
Nah no swelling on the day they finished the surgery it swelled up for a few minutes and then it was gone
I'm able to move my jaw without any tightness either
That can't be right
Surgical extraction takes at least a week to recover
Pain and swelling are common
Looked into it a bit
Yeah, it's possible
You got lucky ig
Usually, after a week
Yep
I had all 4 removed 💀
Terrible experience
My friend's worst nightmare
He's gonna stop after two
Congrats on being alive
