We already have it in the app for avatars but we cannot change the proportions of the rig, why not implement a similar feature for creating custom rigs of our own that we can implement to our sprites.
Basically what I'm suggesting here is to add something similar to pc softwares like Live2D Cubism, Spine2D or DragonBones into JE.

Child objects + pivot points + scripting (a little)
Yeah i tried that
but having an editor is 100% more efficient on both your time and brain ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
I mean just watch this

I'm pretty sure it would take ages to make something like this with just JE scripts ╥﹏╥
Some of my 2D Spine rig & animation material.

And since they already have avatars and a custom animation maker for the avatars it really shouldn't be too big of a deal for them to implement a similar feature for custom rigging
True, but thing is, JE assets don’t really work like blender characters, JE assets are just images that you animate so it would probably be hard to implement that
Unless they introduce a new kind of asset or feature
These softwares use only use 2d images aswell, just distorted and animated in a way they appear 3d. However it does not have to be this complex, true that. they already have a built in avatar system that uses a simpler skeleton based animation system and a built in animator for that. I just want them to implement it outside of the avatar system so that we can make characters with different sylized proportions, and even creatures, foliage and all that juicy stuff
