How to give invencibility without that weird blinking effect?

Im making a fighting multiplayer game for the gamejam6 but everytime I execute invencibility to my actor he starts flicking until the comand is finished. How to do it without flicking?

You would have to create your own invincibility

But you mentioned it is in multiplayer so you cn use the multplayer alternative for main actor
